Dahan-dahan niyang kinuha ang phone at nag-type. “Please stop. I’m married. I won’t meet you.” Nag-send siya ng message. Nanginginig ang daliri. Ilang minuto. Walang reply. Akala niya tapos na. Pero biglang nag-vibrate ulit ang screen. Isang line lang. “You owe me one goodbye.” Parang may humawak sa lalamunan niya. At naalala na iniligtas siya nito sa sunog. One goodbye. A closure. Iyon ang kailangan nila.

Naging bahagi po kayo ng kwentong ito at hindi ito mabubuo kung wala kayo. Taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo. Sobrang grateful ko po sa inyo dahil kung wala kayo, wala ako... So paano? Akala ko, biglang nawala ang internet kasi sa messenger lang naman siya tumatawag. "Hello buds?" "Yes buds", sagot nito. "Goodnight na. Sweetdreams. At saka goodluck for tomorrow." Ako na ang naunang nagsabi sa kanya para makapagpahinga na siya. "Goodnight din buds. Sweetdreams. I miss you. See you soon", wika nito. "Sige bye!" "Bye na? Wala man lang bang response? Hindi naman ako makakatulog nito ng maayos buds", may himig pagtatampo ang boses nito.

Salamat sa lahat ng pag mamahal na binigay mo, hopefully when we cross paths again, may things work again, padayon my future flight attendant] He finally messaged but this time it was a goodbye message. ....._......

Hindi ko alam kung may susunod na pagkakataon pa ba o baka ito na ang huli naming pagkikita. "Goodbye Attorney. Masaya po ako sa maikling panahong nakilala ko kayo. Salamat po."

Hindi ko alam kung makakatulong ito pero sana makatawid sa lahat habang wala ako. This is certainly the hardest thing for me, but I have to say it because that is what destiny has left for us, Goodbye! I had never thought I would be writing this to you.
