Every ounce of strength. She let go. Suddenly. My weight was already shifting backward from pulling so hard. My foot reached behind me, searching for solid ground. There was nothing. I’d forgotten where I was standing. Right at the edge of the stairs. My arms shot out, grasping desperately for the railing. My fingers brushed it but couldn’t hold on. I fell. My back slammed into the stairs. The air left my lungs. Then gravity took over. I was tumbling, my body hitting step after step. Each impact sent pain shooting through me.

Scarlet POV I fall through the air for two seconds. In those two seconds, I nearly get a heart attack. I am still confused and scared as I fall through the air and land on the floor with a loud thud. "Ugh!" I cry out as soon as my body hits the floor and I lie still for a few seconds, groaning at the pain that shoots through my head and back from hitting the floor.

Our biggest problem was I thought we had everything under control. And slowly, I can feel that it becomes hard to even cry. There is nothing left in my eyes as I slowly let go of the rest of my strength, and I just slumbered to the ground. “Before I fall, I can see the Cult, watching as it comes in from the staircase, and I've never seen that expression that he has on his face before.” It is as if his whole world has been taken from him from him as he finds me, surely falling on the ground.

' I gasp, swaying so violently I close my eyes, expecting to hit the floor, but when I open them again, I have somehow managed to manoeuvre the TV in front of the window. Crawling onto the four-poster bed, I lie on my back, staring at the canopy above my head, my breathing so laboured I know I am going to die. Then I draw back my legs and kick the TV as hard as my little remaining strength will allow. It rocks a little on its support, and I close my eyes. All that effort for nothing. The blackness is closing in so fast I am too weak to prevent it. I don't hear the massive crash as the TV falls forward with its own momentum, hitting the already shattered glass and exploding outward to fall on

NOAH'S POV: I was taking her apart bit by bit, showing her that she should not disrespect me for any reason. I was satisfied already with the results I've gotten so far, and I offered her a glass of water “Here, have a drink” I said. But she wasn't moving, and then she fell slowly to the ground. I was surprised and the only thing I could think of was what I had done to her and how I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to her. Her dad already has a health problem.

Reuben POV I’m falling down a cliff, falling and I can’t seem to grip on to any rocks at the side of the cliff. It’s constant, like gravity is pulling me down. Am I dead? Am I falling into hell? My stomach aches from the continuing drop before my hand manages to grab onto the side of a grass verge. This cliff never seemed to end. With a jolt to my new positioning, I stop falling and look down at my dangling feet. This cliff had no end and no beginning, it was just constant. There was no sky, no ground…just cliff.

Seeing them would close this chapter once and for all. I went to see Melissa first. When she saw me, tears streamed down her face. "I didn't think you'd actually come see me." I looked at her through the iron bars, at the handcuffs on her wrists, and spoke calmly. "After all, you're about to die. Coming to see you seems fitting after everything between us." She let out a slow laugh. "You're so fake! I hate that hypocritical face of yours more than anything! If you didn't have such a good family background, I don't believe you'd be this successful!”

The ceiling cracked and caved in, and dust and debris fell all around. “Thank you, Frank,” Gabe whispered to the heavens. Outside, Rachel, Prue, and Dean watched in horror as the gym imploded. Smoke billowed from the doors. Rachel broke into a run. “NICK!” Dean caught her. “Rachel—wait!” From the smoke, two silhouettes emerged—Nick and Gabe. The group ran to meet them, tears and laughter erupting as Rachel threw her arms around Nick, kissing him deeply. Gabe looked to the idol, then to the rising sun, and smiled.
