Alpha Connor Finley BlackPaw of the BlackPaw pack is starting to have an increasing problem with rogues. They’ve been testing the security fencing around the pack trying to find their vulnerable spots. BlackPaw increased their patrols and brought all pack members closer to the center of town where they had an underground shelter for emergencies. He needed help so he called a neighboring ally, the Shadow Mountain pack that was located about an hour away. Alpha Kelvin Shadow dispatched two squads of his elite shadow warriors to assist the BlackPaw pack.

With Arlo’s impeccable strength, it wasn’t long until colored dust started coming out from the piñata. Everybody held their breaths in anticipation as the color became more apparent. Is it blue or pink? I held Kairo’s hand tighter as the children continued to hit it. The piñata was now completely open, and color started oozing out from it. However, even after the color started showing, everybody was still confused. That’s because the color that started oozing out was green! Not blue, not pink, but green! The packs had put aside their differences for this day, and it was a sight to behold. Members of both packs mingled, some talking in hushed tones, others laughing and celebrating. It was testament to the journey Hana and Jarrel had led them on, bringing unity from old wounds.

Paws hit the ground hard. Wolves burst forward in a rush of color. Running beside them felt unreal, almost electric. Yellow flashed near me. Nyx. Dark brown followed. Elara. Midnight blue streaked past. Eva. My eyes caught Orion’s icy-blue wolf pacing mine, smooth and controlled. A quick glance back showed a reddish-brown wolf gaining fast. Griffin. For a second, everyone seemed distracted by the colors, by the sight of it all. Then the moment snapped. Like mirrors of each other, Orion and I surged ahead. Speed swallowed everything else.

He looked up at her expectantly. "Safe words." She licked her lips. "Well, I never wanted to be complicated about that. Just red, yellow, and green are the ones I like, if that's okay." He frowned a bit. "And red is for…" "Oh, sorry. Red is for stop, yellow for slow down, and green means everything is okay." Jessi felt her face redden as she watched him jot on his paper. "Now," he looked back up at her, eyes sparkling. "What kinds of toys and implements have you used previously? Besides butt plugs, obviously."

On the other hand, the she-wolves donned in vibrant yellow attire hailed from the Sun Pack. Their outfits radiated warmth and vitality, mirroring the sunny region they represented.
