Greetings to all my wonderful readers! As you've likely noticed, I have actual artwork of my characters for the cover of my book now. This was a commission I paid for from a very dear artist friend by the name of Rydi on DeviantART also known as lucia-garcia on ArtCorgi. We've known each other for a long time now, and I was super happy she gave me permission to use the old commissions in this way, so if you like her style, feel free to check her out.

Year 1853 Sometimes, gray is seen as a sign of an impending storm. But in this moment, the thick gray clouds hung in the sky, marking the start of the autumn season. Miss Yerez looked at Thea and Xander who were already standing in her room before she even told them to come. She narrowed his eyes. "Why are you here so early?" Xander beat Thea and replied, “Miss Yerez, I'm sorry we barged in without permission, something's bad about to happen to Thea last night, that's why I was here since to protect her.”

He looked pissed and disgusted that she would even say that. “We are not Mates. I would never be mates with an ugly, worthless excuse for a wolf. I don’t know who would even consider accepting a loser like you. I, Oscar Barlowe, soon to be alpha of the Dark Moon pack, Reject you, Lilith Brookes, as my Luna and my mate.” Everyone around her started laughing as he walked past Lilith and into Brittany's arms. The entire team quickly tried to make his way to his best friend, who looked to be on the verge of tears, but he wasn't fast enough as Lilith promptly made her way out of the school building.

Raven wasn’t completely sure whether or not she should go since she would have to come back for high school in August, no matter what we were up to, but the forest was saying she should be there. Then, something strange started to happen. I wasn’t surprised at all to see Brice’s yellow or Joshua’s brown. I was surprised when they started running together, much like Raven and Tony’s two colors. I had assumed that the purple and maroon were intermingling because Raven and Tony are a couple. "I think it's dry enough. It's a face painting that my friend did. I just got back from their school festival." "School festival? This early in the year?" "I know, right? Bert asked, standing next to the painting he’d been working on. Rain stepped around where she could see. It was her. Though he’d used non-traditional colors for most everything except her hair, which still looked different since it was painted in an array of oranges and reds, it was still obvious the figure, painted in yellows, greens, and blues, was her--looking up at the Gate, which was located in the background, painted in a deep blue with a twinkle of sunlight glinting off of it. “Wow!” Rain’s hands went to cover her mouth. She was at a loss for words. “That’s… incredible!”

The bright colored male is so far away I can't make out his features, but I know Mo can.
