I chuckled at my little mate. "Xavier, get up." Despite her words she moved closer to me and let her head rest on my chest. "And why should I?" She moved to where her beautiful brown eyes stared into my green ones. Her eyes were beautiful. Three different shades of brown all melted together. The outer ring was a coffee brown while the middle one was so dark that it was almost black. Just almost. The inner ring of brown was like a caramel brown. Then right before her pupil was a light shade of green and blue, all morphed to fit into one ring.

What's going on? "Impossible." The old man says. The man that asked me to prove myself smiles and he nods. "like the color of the moon, dark grey bright and beautiful." He says and I'm taken aback. What? How? My eyes have always been that silver-brown color. Like Nathan's how is it a different color now? I close my eyes and open them. As much as I would like to understand this whole thing right now I want to save my cousin.

Her red curls tickled my neck as she did so. When she pulled away, she went into her little personal room in the Grove and came out with a three little bottles in her hand. She pushed them into mine and looked at me seriously. “These three bottles should be of help to you. The red is for you to regain strength and help wounds heal. The blue is a very corrosive element that burns skin. The green is also for attacking as well if need be. It's a poison, not as corrosive, but also dangerous, especially when ingested.”

“Welcome home, Blaire Marlowe.” I felt my eyes changing, as I turned to stare at the mirror beside me, my eyes had changed to a vivid emerald green. The bright green stood out against the silver and amber, highlighting my unique presence within the pack of brothers. I asked as I chuckled. "Because those colors are mainly what makes life, more beautiful and to feel more natural. Yellow is for the sun, green, is for the grasses, and most leaves, white is for the moon, and blue is for the sea, and sky. We need a color scheme for the night.” I look around them all, and everyone is looking at me. “Pack colors are black and silver because of our name and the shine of the moon.” I nod. I want to incorporate that, but maybe add something else. “Your magic was deep forest green yesterday, baby.” Liam says, again reading my mind. “How about we do deep green and silver?” I ask, and Cianna makes a note on her notepad.
