Hades Dc Novels & Stories

Hades sat beside me, his presence a comforting presence in the quiet solitude of the backyard. We were both silent, lost in the tranquility of the moment. The only sounds were the gentle rustling of the leaves and the soft breeze carrying the sweet scent of flowers. It was a peaceful moment, a respite from the chaos of the world. “I wish we could stay like this forever,” I whispered, my voice barely audible as I leaned against his shoulder. The peace and tranquility of the moment filled me with a sense of contentment. Hades’ hand rested gently on my waist, his touch a comforting presence. He sighed, his voice filled with a mix of guilt and regret. “I’m sorry for not telling you about Dana,”

Hades did that too, for a price. If he were completely honest, there was very little that Hades wouldn’t do for the right amount of money. Hades stepped into Jinx’s bar and made a beeline for the booth where he always did business. Jinx nodded to him as he crossed the room, acknowledging Hades’s presence. That also meant that the tom would be here with a drink as soon as he could get away from tending bar. Hades leaned back, making himself comfortable as he waited. He stared at the familiar copper ceiling tiles emblazoned with pictures of mystical places. He relaxed as he watched the cozy lights dance on the tiles.

I take off my shirt, and like I've done every single day since the last three years, I begin to whip myself. One slash for Mrs Hayes. Two slashes for Mr Hayes. Three slashes for Alexander Hayes. Four slashes for breaking my promise to Lilith Hayes. Five slashes for being coward. "Uh...maybe another time?" Esteban's voice breaks me out of my punishment and I turn over my shoulder to look at him. "No. Sit down." Then, I turn back and set the whip down, picking up my shirt and pulling it over my blood stained back. "We have the Vietnamese cartel on our tail. I want you to find their base here in Mexico and remind them why other houses don't fuck with Los Muertos."

Hades decided to stretch his cramped limbs after nearly an hour of endless paperwork and quiet solitude inside his quarters. When he left his office, he discovered that the city had been completely devoured by the night. Flashing headlights passing by the main road caused Hades' eyes to adjust in order to avoid being blinded by the bright light. The city lights were already shining brightly, reminding him that nightlife had finally begun and that it had been waiting for him. He yawned, thinking that the evening was still too young for him to retire home. He climbed into his Maybach Exelero and drove down the bustling intersection of Larkspur, South Carolina.

Alanna and the young man entered the private room together. Inside, Hades sat in the center of the couch. His black shirt was slightly unbuttoned. He looked relaxed, but he seemed to radiate coldness. He looked at Alanna's expressionless face and let out a cold laugh. "Ms. Jacinto, I see that you're enjoying the wild life."

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: PLAN B ETHAN'S POV Hades is down there in his automobile, I discover. As I go in close behind him, he raises his chin in greeting. But we need to go straight away. He checks the window to make sure all of his guards are posted. Given that he is reputed to be cautious, it is not surprising. Thanks to his quiet strategic nature, he is one of the strongest, if not the deadliest, cornerstones of the Company.

Chapter 44 CAELUM The dome disappeared. The damp soil was replaced by gleaming granites as the smell of death, moss and rotting flowers infiltrated my lungs. “I’m glad you called. I was hoping for a much earlier meeting but it seems that you are kept busy by that charming little cupid,” His voice eerily echoed and I look around noticing his dark form that is drawing close. Hades pulls off his coat and his luminous blue hair floated, licking the top of his head. Curiously, I observed how each strand of his hair drifted as though the wind is blowing at it.

Hades just nodded "So are you in?" "Of course! No one would deny such an offer. His majesty, the great Hades Shaw, is cooking dinner for them" Ana said dramatically, trying to tease him. Hades chuckled at her words, he was happy that she accepted his offer. They drove to a high end area surrounded with skyscrapers. Hades lived on the 55th floor in a penthouse and as soon as they entered Anastasia was flabbergasted by the view in front of her. She ran towards the ceiling to floor windows and couldn't help but be mesmerized by the sunset. Hades walked and stood beside her, he was enjoying another beauty.

I followed it, feeling a glide of breeze touching me, making shivers run down my back. Pushing the door open, I came into the small terrace Hades built for us to relax watching the stream flowing by. On the midnight sky the moon shone like a light bulb, giving me a good view of the surrounding. I looked around until my eyes fell on one of the arm chairs by the fire pit. Hades sat there, arm spread and one knee over the other. The top of his shirt buttons were open, the moonlight gleaming on the flawless skin of his chest, and his tie hung loose around his neck. His hair sat disheveled like he ran his hand through it several times.
