Bone fused with flesh, a beast half-man, half-shadow its eyes stitched short but bleeding black tears. “What is the name of the Moon?” Lyra asked. “A Fused,” Rhys choked. “Failed vessels. Half-filled with the Queen’s power, never completed.” The creature turned its head unnaturally toward Elara and said something that sounded like her Mother. The chamber exploded into chaos. Lerder move to the middle of the hall fully this time, the beast in him form massive, black as obsidian, fingers flashing. He slammed into the Fused, claws tearing at the thing’s throat.

"Let's go. Never seen that kind of performance before." … When I arrived at the center, I realized my life had been dull until this moment. The center, like its name suggested, was filled with all kinds of beastfolk. Adorable rabbits, seductive foxes, imposing wolf-dogs, outgoing and cheerful puppies, and more. This was heaven. The beastfolk were performing on the stage with all they had, showing off their charm as best as they could. The performer with the highest votes would be crowned Best Beastfolk Star, and they'd be awarded with a handsome amount of prize money.

The world slowed down around me as rage and duty collided in my chest. I shape-shifted; My spine arching violently, my bones snapping with wet cracks as they restructured. My flesh rippled, and my veins glowed faintly beneath the surface. My hands curled, my fingernails lengthening into deadly black claws. Fur erupted across my skin in a storm of pain and power. My jaw unhinged, my skull reshaping with a sickening crunch into a long, snarling snout. A roar tore from my throat. Half-man, half-beast—a warning to whatever dared breach my territory. Within seconds, the man was gone. In his place stood a towering Lycan— eight feet of raw fury and primal strength, muscles coiled, senses sharp. Sal

Kate was probably wondering where I was. It was killing me that I was stuck and had no way out for the next hour. "Jeez, you are not being obvious," Krista commented, clicking her tongue. I scoffed, folding my arms over my chest. "That was a joke," Krista clarified after not getting any reaction from me. We were headed for an excellent place to get wasted. But I find that pointless. We were immune to the effects of mortal drinks. It was a perk for being part of the undead.

“Don’t overthink. It’s not good for your health.” “I knew we raised an understanding and lovable son.” Eleand smiled. In the next few days, Eleand spent most of his time researching his origin. Although he was certain about his humanity, however, a part of him might be a faerie with regards to his strong magic attribute. Probably a half-breed, a Demifae—half-human and half-faerie.

“Is it not, as you said, because I am a siren?” “Yes, it is because you are a siren,” he replied with confidence. “There are many half-breeds, so I doubt that is it... Mankind is compatible with most of the brethren, whereas we are not always compatible with each other. You never get a half Fae half ogre, for example, but you do get a half ogre half man, and a half Fae and half man. In most of these combinations, the brethren contribution is diluted. A half ogre will not have the strength of a full.

“No, it’s not a coincidence, the gymnasium is named after my family. Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, I trust that I’ll not have any more interruptions when I use the punching bag.” Evan Alston watched the threesome from his position against the wall. He had been as enraptured as everyone else at the strength and skill displayed by the tiny woman. It had been astonishing to see the woman defeat men three times her size. He became even more intrigued when he overheard someone whisper her identity. The Beast.

Her rosy cheeks turned pale as blood didn’t exist in it, but her natural pink lips still tempted me to have a taste. Her closed eyes flickered and opened tiredly, allowing me to see the honey brown eyes of her filled with hope. She lifted her hand, pointing a finger at my face, but before she could reach up to my face; she lost her consciousness again, landing her hand over her belly.

"You need not worry, they will come to us eventually," Greeta said pointing at Lucy who was still unconscious "Now, we have to prepare and wait for them. We lost at their home now we won't let them win us. We can't let them take us unaware." She added "Fool, we have but twelve days left. And with this, you just angered the beast more " Eric said in anger "Who's the beast you are talking about?" Greeta asked "Don't you know, her father Derrick is the beast," Eric stated

“You saw the way I healed myself. I can do the same to you if you promise me that" I fucked all the pain I was feeling and sat up from my bed. "Yes I saw that and that didn't appear natural to me at all” I looked him straight in the eyes." And I'll only let you heal me if you tell me what you are” I said and watched as his eyes softened. He parted his lips to speak."I am a hybrid Mirabel" he blurted out and my mouth dropped. How did I not notice? I was certain he was a Werewolf, but what was his other side?
