************************************************ Chris POV The news is on at the bar I'm currently sitting at drawing fellow patrons in as the news of what the police has discovered flashes on the screen along with a picture of her, her beautiful smile as bright as ever calls me in like a sirens song followed by the news that they found her in a shallow grave just outside of Benson Lake a few miles from Multnomah Falls by a couple with a dog that had smelt her decomposing body as they let him out to use the bathroom.

After I was done peeling the apple, I munched on it and began chatting with her, seemingly nonchalantly, like I was just talking about the weather, while telling her everything that had happened in my past life. Lacey's eyes were first filled with terror, then confusion, then shock. A part of me suddenly wished Damon was here. "No," she said, her tone calm but wary. "But I can tell he's a spy. I can't shake the feeling that someone’s watching, waiting to kill you." My heart skipped a beat. "Should we call Damon?" Bonnie's expression darkened. "No need. I'll call his sister instead." She discreetly reached for her phone. My eyes widened in shock. "Sister? The lights to the pack hospital were on, even though it was the middle of the night. The Alpha and I got out and headed into the building and walked up to the reception area. “General Nerine has broken her arm; I would like the doctor to make sure it is set properly before it heals." The receptionist nodded and picked up the phone. A few minutes later, a doctor walked out into the waiting area. “I am doctor Aura, please come with me.” Dr Aura was small for a werewolf; she was petite with greying brown hair and brown eyes. I nodded and followed her as she led me down a hallway and into an examination room.

Xavier joked. "According to my grandfather, a month after the boy's death, students started missing. They were all found dead in the woods a week or two after. They dubbed the serial killer as Sunnyville Reaper. And, from what my grandfather told me, your parents are one of those kids who bullied him." The student said before leaving. Even Xavier who always care less about anything around him fell silent. He could never imagine that his mother would be involved in something so dark like that.

Then again, my thoughts were that many had left for home after they finished through with their midterms. Bonnie went on to talk about wanting to watch a movie back in our room when she suddenly stopped. The strange expression that had fallen over her face, had my brows pulling together in question. “Bonnie?” I asked. “What’s wrong?” She slowly raised her hand and pointed off to the side. “W-Who’s that?” We all turned our heads and saw a horrible, cloaked figure that I shouldn’t have been surprised to see. Yet, there he was. That goddamned hunter.
