Flower

Flower

"Here, take my hand. Even if you fall, I'll be there to help you stand back up again" His Flower's Point Of View The thick stench of blood was strong in the smoke filled air. My nose wrinkled as I inhaled the scent. My instincts had me gagging, maybe too loudly. Another scream echoed from not too far away and I squeezed my eyes shot, willing the horrifying sound of pain to disappear. A small sound of desperation escaped my parted lips and I froze in my position. That was loud. More loud than I thought it would be.

La Arma's Heir

La Arma's Heir

Before opening the book, I looked around. I smiled. "Ali seems to miss the plants too." I snorted and leaned back in the chair. Later, I shook my head. "What is that, Rain! Why are you thinking about Ali?" I smiled when I saw a new spring flower. I took the cell phone and immediately took a picture. As far as I know, this is the Hibiscus flower or better known as Gumamela. The color of the petals is red. I immediately posted it on my social media account. I walked again to take some more pictures.

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

He let out a hissed, “Another ton of river flowers went up for auction. Whoever’s controlling what’s left of Fluorite’s stores is being a tight bastard about it.” My heart lurched as I looked between them in mock confusion, but I didn’t say anything. River flowers was a colloquial name. We called them aquaria flora. They were good for a lot of things on their own, chief among them was painkilling. When mixed with other flower extracts and crushed the right way, they made powerful hallucinogens typically used as recreational drugs. “Did you get into the auction?” “No. It moved too quickly. Would have been good though. White blooms were on sale, though. They should be arriving next week.”

It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.

Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Godfather World

Godfather World

Zen had never seen such a plant. Accepting the gift from the girl, Zen wondered what flower it was. It had red, yellow and blue petals, which did not seem like something that belonged to the forest. However, after inspecting it with his Foraging Encyclopaedia skill, he learned that it was a poisonous flower that could treat fever while giving the consumer a very nasty case of bloated ankles. The Naga people used this as medicine because they did not have ankles to care about. Unless Gilda or Hernie could devise a concoction that negates the bloated ankle side effects, the tri-coloured flower was not a very good ingredient for fever cures.

Shyfter joked. "Kai is behaving strangely. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was stepping out on Anatashi. Now that you mention it, he's been dipping out of the house on the regular.,The last time he was doing this, he was running out to the clearing by the lake to find those flowers that Anatashi loves, what were they again?" Anaki asked them. "Midnight Orchids." Moon answered. "That's them. They are pretty and smell like heaven!" Anaki smiled.

"We are here already," "This is a forest" "A very beautiful one," I added. The car moved over stones and I drove into the wide path. Cars rarely frequented this place but there was still a path we could follow and as I drove past the bushes, Iris wound down the windows and plucked a flower. "I have never seen a hibiscus, Xavier. Only in pictures," She brought it to her nose and inhaled. "Doesn't smell as nice as I thought," "You have a terrible nose," I said and plucked the stalk from her hand. I stared at the white petals before bringing it to my nose. "This is the Hibiscus arnottianus, also called the Hawaiian white Hibiscus and it has a fragrance,"

All in all, I liked the overall concept of the novel. Love, hatred, revenge, etc all emotions displayed by each character was totally good. There were some loopholes here and there in story such as the Ring pendant being with samrat was later being with Erica. But overall good work by the author👍

This is so dark and twisted. Just, WOW! I'm only 78% through but I'm definitely reading your other stories when I'm done with this one. This has me feeling all the bad feelings. FL is an amazing character. There's some editing that can be done, fix a few words, but it's still a great story. Bravo!

Hidden Mate

Hidden Mate

Brett and Adam’s eyes widened at the sudden appearance of Konki flowers, which were used to create drugs against werewolves. On the other hand, this was the first time for Maxine to see the flowers and so she didn't take much interest on it. Not until the scent of the flowers mingled in the air. She lifted her eyelashes onto the white flower in Lawrence’s hands, then she blinked silently while her trembling hands reached out the hem of her dress. "Wow, a flower?" Lawrence asked. "This is the first time I saw this. What is the name of this flower?" Smiling, Chandler answered, "Konki."

Yet, Aqua changed everything, not once but twice. “Include more blue irises,” he told the mildly surprised florist. “I’ll also take some of those,” he pointed at the Himalayan blue poppy. “Do those have a negative meaning to them?” Only a few Himalayan blue poppies were in the shop, and they just arrived yesterday. Due to the rarity and difficulty of growing them, the flowers didn’t often appear in her shop. It was personally grown and shipped by the florist’s mother, who owned a greenhouse, thus not having a price tag.
