I shook my head, “I’m ready when you are.” I held my mom’s hands and we teleported to the ballroom. I walked into the room and got a drink. I looked around for a bit, but I didn’t feel anything. As witches, when we find our mate, it almost feels like a magnet is pulling us to them. We couldn’t stop it if we wanted to. Our bodies literally move involuntarily to him.

I stared at the already miserable body of Jacob which made me think where he must have seen the energy to keep talking. " Keep quiet " the other man pressed on an injured area to inflict more pain to Jacob. " No! " without hesitation, I rushed to Jacob and knelt before him. The strange feeling happened again, I used my palms to cover his rib area, after some meditations the injury in that area was gone. "Talking to the witch when you should be taking what she knows." Everything happened too fast. Draeven launched himself at the witch, his corrupted claws extended. She threw up a shield of shimmering light, but he tore through it like paper. I heard her scream as his claws raked across her side, saw blood spray black against the snow. "No!" I frowned when I started feeling dizzy. “What’s going on?” I looked around trying to gain control. “Ivana has used the vial potion which will stop the witches from using their powers for a time being” My eyes widened at that. Slowly all the witches started falling right in front of us. Falcon fell down. Even in his unconscious state, he dropped to his knees and protected the babies. Once everybody had fainted, Ivana laughed. An evil and vicious laugh. “You are so cruel. How can you do that to your own sister” I hissed at her.
