It was then jasmine saw a small head on one end of this yellow string along with two golden eyes and a nose and a tiny mouth “Serpentine…..” Jasmine murmured as she realized that it was not a yellow string but a mythical snake which she had only heard about in tales of her grandmother……..

"Show your face, you sneaky witch. Who are you? Why are you busy disrupting my portals? If it's the last thing I do, I will kill you today." By this time, the huge water snake had lowered Harold and the crew down. He released them in the middle of the werewolves. When Harold tried to reach for his wand, he discovered that apart from his eyes, mouth, ears and nose. His body was paralyzed. He could not move an inch and neither were Tina and Carla. They could not move any of their limbs as well. "You vile snake, what did you do to me?" The snake hissed angrily but slithered away towards the other snakes. Apollo laughed together with Poseidon.

The girl, seeing that the snake almost suffocated her hawk, began to defend him. “Fortioris! Fortioris!” The snake was hit hard. “Fortioris!” Elizabeth hit the reptile again. The snake, due to the pain, began to unfold his body around the hawk and curled back into a corner. But the girl didn't stop. “Fortioris! Fortioris!” The wounded snake from so much magic gave up and tried to protect his vulnerable areas coiling. He went to his master, withdrawing. Elizabeth saw the hawk coming toward her slowly, unable to fly because of the wound from the snake bite. Also, the girl saw how Alexander intended to touch her with a spell through his wand. But before he could say something, Elizabeth was one

I say softly. “Why would you say that?” She asks curiously. “You said the gold snake is her descendent, but my snake isn’t gold.” “Mei’s right, her snake is black and gold,” Chris says, backing me up. Setia looks like a dear caught in headlights as she slowly sits back. She seems… unnerved? “Are you certain about this?” She quietly asks. I thought irshiusts could detect the truth, shouldn’t she know we’re being honest?

I look at her in question so she explains further. “You see, as we speak, Basilisk, the snake, is still latched to your neck. He is sifting through your spirit and soul. His venom is pouring into you, and not just into your physical body. If he finds any darkness inside you, that is dark desires or a character like greed or dark emotions like hatred, then the venom will kill you. If not, then you will receive the power of the elixir.” She finishes. “No one has ever been able to get the elixir and the few who made it to the last stage died because almost all of them were filled with greed, the need for vengeance, anger, hatred, selfishness and bitterness” fate number two says.

The hug was short and brief but it gave Akira the strength she needed to push just a little bit further. They walked around till Orion paused at the fantasy section of the library, the children's section to be precise. “Eureka!” He exclaimed. Akira chuckled at his childlike expression, “what are we doing here?” “Does this look familiar?” He asked. She looked closely at the book and smiled, “Harry Potter?” She asked in surprise. “Yes my darling, I believe that there's a creature in this book that might have a hand in Mirabel's petrification.” Akira scoffed, “I doubt the basilisk would want to have anything to do with her.”

her room, and we agreed to meet up later once she took some rest. "It's Bella, right?" Gabriel asked me as we walked towards his room. I just nodded a yes. "Is it short for Isabella?" No, my name is Bellatrix," I answered. "Wow, that's a beautiful name. Your name is from the Latin word meaning Female Warrior." What is this guy, a braniac or walking encyclopedia? I had no clue about the meaning behind my name. I just knew that my grams had named me. "Thanks for the compliment, but honestly, I never took the time to look up the meaning of the name my grams chose for me," I told him shyly. "We're here, I hope this room meets your satisfaction. Give me a shout if there is anything you need," I

The next day, I picked out a gift for Chloe in return for the crystal flute. Chloe was a black snake with striking green eyes, so I chose a snake necklace with emerald eyes for her. I could not help but smile wryly to myself. After all, the Douglas family was rich and powerful. What more could I ask for? I had just paid my bill and was about to leave when a loud, shocked voice caught my attention. "James, you're such a liar! You say you don't want to be Rowena's beast slave, but you're secretly spending a fortune on her birthday present. I could never be that sneaky," the voice said.

"Who's the leader? The Supreme Priest asked pointing with his staff to the captives. "The blood of the innocent will fall upon you," declared Theobald proudly, taking a step forward. Four warriors from to the Northern clan took Theobald by his arms and piercing his back with their spears, forced him to cross the bridge and kneel before the Golden Snake. The gems on the Golden Serpent glittered illuminated by the torches. A warrior handed the High Priest an ax with a large blade of sharp metal.

This was the king of serpents. 'The basilisk.' I quickly look away from its yellow eyes reflecting death at me. I read about the Basilisk in old magical lores, it was a giant serpent, also known as the King of Serpents. Aside from its deadly and venomous fangs that had the ability to destroy anything, the Basilisk has a murderous stare, and all who are fixed with the beam of its eye shall suffer instant death 'I can't look at it, I need to avoid its gaze.' I mentally warmed myself.
