I said, holding her wrist so that I could assist her and prevent her from tripping, but she forcefully tugged her hands out of my grasp, making the contents of her purse spill out onto the floor. The items were scattered all around, making the floor look messy. Alexa bent down and clumsily began to gather the items on the floor. I followed suit and began to help her gather the items, but she glared at me. “What do you want? You didn't give candy, and now you want to take my things from me,” she said, sulking. I laughed at her drunken words. Did she know what candy she was talking about? I ignored her and saw a book that seemed to have skidded off and was lying further away from the scattered

As Peter grappled with Roy, I moved into position, ready to pour the potion on the limbs that did not belong to him. Just when I thought everything was going smoothly, my lack of confidence and a moment's hesitation caused me to pause for a second behind Roy. That one-second delay was all it took for Roy to notice me. He threw Harry and Peter aside and turned to face me. In a panic, I hurled the potion at him, but he dodged it, and the liquid spilled onto the ground. The potion I had waited three days for was wasted due to my hesitation, and everyone's hopes were dashed by my own hands.

Akira who was still trying to catch her breath raised her index finger, she caught her breath and replied, “that spell did not only reveal things about me.” The next bend they took brought them to the reading table where they met rune who was already seated with a large volume of books piled up before him in threes and fives. He was not happy with what he was seeing, “where's the books you went to get?” He asked. “Here…” Orion answered as he tossed the copy of Harry Potter he held to Rune. “theres no way that you're serious about this, a children's book?” He asked. “A children's book that is loved by adults….”

I sat on small wooden stool that was present inside, since Draco was not back yet , I decided to go though my bag, I pulled out all four books that was written by my grandmother on Dark Creatures, Spells, poison and lastly DRAGONS, each of this book included all detail information on spell, method, about ghost, warewolf, sorceress , way to tackle them and many more things, tree books included every detail on other supernatural things while one entire book was dedicated to Dragon. Out of curiosity, I picked up dragon book and started reading from beginning, I only finished two page when I felt someone’s presence behind me, I rapidly turned but found no one right. ‘THUD… THUD….’ two wooden pla

[hey guys! let's start book 3, shall we? LOl. Merry Christmas everybody! so before we begin book 3, I realized the version of Apod on Good novel (book 2) is the only one that didn't have this chapter. I must have forgotten to post it and for that I'm sorry. Whilst it will take away nothing from book 2, I feel it is essential for Character development and just a recap of some elements in book 1. Please note that the events of this chapter took place in book 2.]

The teen smiled, took the book from Lena and relaxed onto her bed to start reading. Lena picked up where she left off in the novel. ~0~

I straddled him to deepen the kiss when we heard a whistle behind us. “If I had known you guys would give this kind of show, I would’ve brought popcorn.” I broke away to see George and Harry walking towards them. I jumped up to greet them, pulling them both into a hug. “What are you guys doing here?!” “You think we’ll leave you going against a crazy witch without our help. Besides, I have never seen a grimoire up close before,” Harry said with a sparkle in his eye. I looked at George, who rolled his eyes as Harry gushed about the books Mirja let him keep.

Kathleen glances at me surreptitiously, “if you are planning to sneak that book out, don’t bother. No book can leave the premises without being detected. It’s some kind of weird magic thing here.” I look at the book. It’s got too many pages torn from it to be considered useful. “I had no such plan.” I get to my feet, returning the book to its rightful shelf. Kathleen just trails after me, and when she opens her mouth, I quickly say, “Let’s not discuss this.” On seeing the reluctance on her face, I say tightly, “Ever.” Fortunately, Kathleen just nods and smiles and follows me out of the room. However, there is a niggling sense of fear within me. Does she know?
