Harvest Moon A Magical Melody 소설 & 이야기

It was morbid but a harmless thought never hurt anyone. “I’ll pass but thanks.” Melissa winced when the words peeled from her in nervous laughter. They walked around the tables of knitted mittens and scarfs, one table was filled with pumpkin-spiced honey and many more were being set up. Lola remembered the first time she’d tried the honey when Melissa mixed it in a cup of tea with some chestnut biscuits on the side. Many of the families had been setting up tables for the Harvest Moon festival for generations and everyone knew exactly what to expect.

The light in her sigil flared violently. Kaelen grabbed her wrist. “What is that?” She met his gaze, fear breaking through her composure. “The moon’s calling. The Harvest Moon—it’s early.” He looked up. Through the storm, the clouds began to thin, revealing a pale red glow seeping across the horizon. The moon, swollen and shimmering, climbed higher with impossible speed. “Too soon,” he muttered. “It wasn’t supposed to rise for another day.” A voice drifted through the air, carried on the wind. “The moon waits for no mortal vow.”

Running in heels isn't that difficult, I must say. I held a small box in my hand wrapped with some shiny paper and yellow ribbon on top, the birthday girl's favorite color. The only present that I could afford for her was this handmade pendant that was her name molded with metal wire, with a rose quartz shaped as a crescent Moon, fixed on the top of her name's last 'A'.

"He found your pregnancy test results in the last hour. His guilt broke through his memory barrier. Everyone else forgot you—except him. He's been searching the whole world for you. That world is crumbling under his madness, and unless you go back, it'll vanish completely. Will you return?" I was still stunned when Alec came over, untied my apron, and waved a hand in front of me. "What are you thinking about? I'm hungry. Come eat with me." I nodded, snapping out of my daze, though inside I said, "No. I never felt kindness in that world, so I don't know who I'd go back for." The system went quiet for a few seconds before chuckling. "Alright. I understand." Alec took me to the seaside for dinn

“Well, it looks like you have a wedding to plan.” “You mean, we have a wedding to plan.” I chuckled, shaking my head. “Anything you plan will be wonderful.” He started swaying back and forth, even though there was no music. I waved my hand toward his stereo witting on a shelf. It popped on, and music began playing softly. He lifted his head from mine, smiling as he looked into my eyes. “Did you do that?” I nodded. “I learned it from Magenta. Now that I’m a Luna, I have magic. So, she’s teaching me how to use it.”

my mom said, leaving her position and sitting close to me. "Listen to me. Don't you, because of being Serbian, lose the feelings you have for Kent. For all I know, the young man honestly loves you, and I believe you love him too." "I do, Mom."an ambiguous look on my face. "…but I don't want to bring trouble to Dad or to you either." "You won't, my love. "You won't," Mom patted my long red hair. She held me close to her shoulders. "Just be who you are…THE LUNA OF THE FULL MOON. You have the abilities, and I know you would use them to fight your way through all this."

Succulent roasted meats, vibrant seasonal vegetables, and fragrant herbs delighted the senses, while goblets brimmed with moonberry wine, its enchanting flavor imparting a sense of revelry. As the night deepened, the palace gardens transformed into a realm of enchantment. Magical fireflies danced among the flowers, casting a gentle glow that intertwined with the moon's radiance. Soft music resonated through the air, played by talented werewolf musicians whose melodies seemed to echo the rhythm of our beating hearts.

“I don’t really know yet.” A breeze moved through the trees, carrying with it the scent of garden mint and old woodsmoke. The leaves rustled a gentle applause, as if the garden itself remembered the ones who’d walked here before. And for just a second— The sound of humming—soft and familiar, winding its way through the moonflowers and wild thyme. It was a melody Autumn knew by heart, though she hadn’t heard it since childhood. Mirabella’s song. It rose and fell on the night air, weaving through the garden’s shadows, a lullaby for the living and the lost.

"Everyone is waiting for you at the pack house. The Harvest Moon celebration is about to begin. The elders are asking where you are." Of course. Today was our pack's most important celebration of the year. The Harvest Moon festival, where we celebrated our successful year and honored the Moon Goddess. As Alpha and Luna, we were supposed to lead the ceremonies together. Marcus straightened his shirt and ran a hand through his hair, instantly switching from furious husband to composed Alpha. "Tell them I will be there in ten minutes," he said coldly. Then he turned his burning gaze back to me. "And so will Luna."

The name on the front made my heart skip a beat: Margaret Hawthorne—my grandmother. I carefully opened the journal, its pages yellowed and brittle. My grandmother’s handwriting filled the pages, recounting her life in Silverwood Falls. As I read, a pattern began to emerge. References to moonlit rituals, secret gatherings, and strange occurrences that mirrored the legends Selene had spoken of. One entry, dated over fifty years ago, caught my attention: *“Tonight, under the full moon, the clan gathers once more. The prophecy speaks of a chosen one, a protector born from our bloodline. We must guard this secret, for it is our legacy and our curse.”*
