Graveyard Watchman

Graveyard Watchman

And I can feel it. The animalistic cries of the Demon echo down the hallway and he turns to me with a warning expression. "I may have to kill him." All I can do is nod because I'm still replaying the sickening sight of Uncle John's hand being ripped from his arm. And all the blood. There was so much blood. "I will not be long." Dominic leans down and practically smacks my forehead, with his lips, snapping off the horrific images in my head. "Do not leave this room, Kate," he reminds me, his voice firm and more controlled.

Hunter Bride

Hunter Bride

I shook my head, “If anything it has gotten worse, I don’t have to speak to him. He is able to read my thoughts, apparently.” “That’s great, so all the information and everything you have done for the order is at his disposal.” “No. I have to be thinking about it for him to hear it.” I corrected him. Alpha Rawlins frowned, “I will have to kill that vampire and break the bond he shares with you.” “You’d kill Nerine in the process.” General Abtez stated. “It’s General Nerine.” I corrected him and he turned to glare at me. “I think we should drop the titles at least for tonight, if we used them around the humans, it would look weird.” Alpha Rawlins pointed out.

A Secret Kept By My Wife

A Secret Kept By My Wife

He picked up his thermos and took a slow sip, but the look in his eyes was worse than any insult he could have thrown at me. That afternoon, I grabbed an empty sterile vial from the company medicine cabinet. When I got home that evening, Alice was cooking in the kitchen. The roar of the range hood drowned out everything else. I took the chance to slip into the bedroom and buried my face in the pillow, inhaling deeply. I couldn't smell anything. She claimed the scent was fading, but I couldn't catch even a hint of diesel. "Dinner's ready." Alice appeared in the doorway, her apron speckled with oil and her spatula still dripping with broth.

EXCLUSIVE NIGHT WITH MY HOCKEY MAN

EXCLUSIVE NIGHT WITH MY HOCKEY MAN

He stormed out without another word. The door slammed behind him. I waited until the echo faded before pulling my phone out again. Still no reply from Adeline. She’d read it, I was sure of it. But she hadn’t said anything back. The little Canary that makes me even more intrigued. She wasn’t just some drunk girl who made a mistake. She knew what she was doing. She looked me in the eye and dared me to cross the line—and when I did, she didn’t flinch. And now she was hiding?

The Healer’s Fatal Warning

The Healer’s Fatal Warning

"So please, explain to me how a person impaled by silver and trapped underground managed to use witchcraft, run into the advanced healing room, participate in the entire procedure, and cause the Luna's death?" The question hit them like a physical blow. The hallway was dead silent. The wolves, who had just been baying for blood, now just stared at each other. The anger on their faces froze. They were all stunned into a brief, confused silence. But at that critical moment, a powerful, authoritative voice cut through the silence from the back of the crowd. "Enforcer, the external surveillance alone doesn't absolve Cora of her medical responsibility." Everyone whipped their heads around. It was

Haunted by Office Things

Haunted by Office Things

Everyone froze, stunned. Adam jerked his head up, tears still clinging to his cheeks. "What did you say? How could there be no one inside?" The police stepped aside, signaling for everyone to look into the elevator. There were indeed dark red stains at the bottom, but there was no body. "That's great. No one was hurt." "Thank God. That girl must be incredibly lucky." "If there was no one inside, then what was all that blood?" Adam and my coworkers exchanged puzzled looks.

BURNING DESIRES, WIFEY PLEASE COME BACK

BURNING DESIRES, WIFEY PLEASE COME BACK

"It's up to you, dad. You have to keep the memory drive safe and make sure the chips in their heads remain there." I patted Gabriella on the shoulder. "You're right, daughter. But we can only be sure the worst would happen when Adeline's wolf is awakened." "What did the witch tell you?" "She hasn't disclosed anything to me. That cunning banshee." I hissed. "Only when Adeline is now more an omega then I can go back to her." "That Delilah of a witch had been helping you all these while, don't you think she'd end up asking for something big— one you can't afford?" Gabriella questioned, her palm resting in her jaw as she studied the look on my face.

The Runaway Twin: Claimed By The Alpha

The Runaway Twin: Claimed By The Alpha

“Seriously? You sent me a text, looking for me. You weren’t in your office, so I looked around. What happened, man? It’s been years, and you never went here.” His voice turned from joking to pure seriousness in a short time. “I need you to keep an eye on Adeline,” I ordered, brushing off his remark. “We already did an investigation on her. Do you see it now? She might be a threat to the pack. We don’t know her.” Couldn’t think properly in this place where my mind was being flooded by Francine’s memories. I started walking back to the pack house with Ted alongside me. “We’re Demonmaw. How much of a threat could a freshman be?” I asked sarcastically.

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

Kaden’s eyes glazed over as he mind linked his men, and half of them took off with Dylan’s corpse. When I glanced back at the tree where he was laid against, I could see no trace of whatever transpired left. It’s as if it never happened. Even the scent vanished when they took away his corpse. Then, I felt Adeline grow uneasy. “That feeling earlier…” she reminded me, “I’m starting to think it wasn’t Colton that we sensed earlier…” she spoke. I raised my brow at her, “What are you suggesting?” I could feel Adeline’s contemplation, going silent for a few moments.

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

The Ex-husband's Regret: CEO'S Ex-Wife Returns As Boss

The Ex-husband's Regret: CEO'S Ex-Wife Returns As Boss

It was Emily, pretending to wash her hands, she knew that we weren’t alone. “Don’t be surprised, Adeline. I am here to give you a last warning. Be quiet and listen to me.” She whispered. “You’re going to regret for this humiliation. Both you and your dear husband because Emily Jones never let anyone go without paying them back.” She said and left, not before passing me a sinister smile.
