She had never wished for enhanced hearing much like she did in that moment. She left the room completely, heading down the passageway. All of the rooms she passed were locked, until she finally reached the last room. There was a fire going at the fireplace, but there was no one inside. She looked around the room and found that it was a mini library of sorts. She strode over to one of the shelves at the side of the room, running her hands on the spines of the books. Some were in languages she didn’t know, and she wasn’t quite sure what would be inside the books in the languages she could understand.
