meteors are raining down people are dying and there's this one guy who is currently sitting on the floor staring at the sky "n..no way why? my family, my friends why?" suddenly there's a someone standing behind him " wait somethings not right here" as he turns to look behind him he's suddenly picked up and smoothered in a hug . "master!, master!, I found you ". " wait what ? who are you and what do you have to do with me ? and let me go"

I held the edge of his jacket and smiled shyly. When I looked at him again, his eyes were closed. I thought he was praying. But moments later, a streak of light flashed across the sky, followed by another, and another. A meteor shower. I gasped like a child in awe. It was beautiful, as if the night was meant just for us. As I watched him, his eyes still closed, I felt my heart pounding faster. This can’t be… I think I’m falling… He turned to look at me. Our eyes met. And in that moment, I felt hypnotized.

**Third Meteor** flared like distant lightning, then faded in lavender trace. **Fourth Meteor** fell near the old chapel ruins, a silent salute. **Fifth Meteor** arced toward Ember Hollow, carrying starlight across the valley. **Sixth Meteor** etched a brilliant curve over the capital’s silhouette. **Seventh Meteor** shimmered, then burst in a fountain of embers. **Eighth Meteor** drifted slowly as if lingering for a blessing. **Ninth Meteor** left a lingering glow that wrapped the towers in soft light. **Tenth Meteor** descended between Vera and Lucien, trailing twin ribbons that entwined overhead.

They looked up at the inevitable. "Retreat!" Lysander screamed, scrambling to his feet. "Run!" But you cannot outrun a star. The meteor roared over the heads of the combatants, the heat singing their eyebrows, and crashed directly into the Iron Tabernacle. KKKKKK-DOOOOOOM. The impact was absolute. A mushroom cloud of purple fire and dust rose into the stratosphere. The shockwave flattened the landscape, knocking every standing soldier to the ground. Malphas dug his claws into the earth to hold on.

Conrad, looking annoyed, was about to light up his second cigar… Just then, one of his subordinates felt his ear tingle. He looked into the distance with his telescope. “Mr. Conrad! Look at that!” he exclaimed, gasping. Conrad instinctively looked over, and saw something resembling a meteor traveling down in the dark sky. “Is that a meteor? Why is it so big?” Before Conrad could take a picture for his mistress, the “meteor” kept expanding until it became a human figure—the figure could be seen crossing his arms in the air.

They gradually realized, however, that they were incapable of doing so. The crowd realized that though the stone sculptures were non-living, they cooperated well. They were seamless, be it defense or attack. More importantly, many realized that the stone sculptures were not made of regular stones but Sky Meteorites. They were tough, and no knives could destroy them, nor could a sword cut through them.

I want that future. I look lovingly at Layla but she has turned her attention to the sky. Her brow is scrunched and eyes are squinting as she looks at something with confusion. I look up to see what she is looking at and I witness the most spectacular meteor shower. "It looks like the moon is crying," She says both in awe and sorrow. "Why do you say that?" I ask trying to see what she sees. "Come here and look," She pats the ground beside herself without taking her eyes off the night sky. I do as she asks and when I look up I see what she is seeing and my stomach falls to my feet.

We all just waited for her to return from whatever they were discussing. Aimee POV Ash had grabbed me away from the conversation the second she heard Alester’s name. “Aimee, Alester is the reason the last blue moon pair were killed.” She said. “We know what he has planned. We must finish the mating process tonight. Only then he can’t take us away or mate us. Our power will surpass his and he won’t be able to touch us.” She said hastily.
