Episode 54 – Mirror Room Bella had always been fascinated by the world of fantasies and mysteries. It was low and so quiet that I had to strain to hear it, but there was no mistaking that voice. It was Lina’s. "Wh-what?" I asked breathlessly at the realization, "what sort of mirror is this?" My hand was already bloody all over and the glass hasn't fallen off at all. "I need to get something... Something bigger" I mumbled to myself and rushed back into the now completely destroyed bedroom, nothing was left untouched, not even the bed, as I had cut through it, releasing most of its contents on the floors.

And if it tries to take something from you...” He leaned in and kissed me softly. “Remember you’re already everything.” Lunaryn growled in my mind, soft and steady. “Let’s show this fucking mirror who we are.” I nodded. Wiped my eyes. And stood. “I’m ready,” I said. And I meant it. Ten minutes later.... The room was quiet. Too quiet. I stood in front of the floor length mirror, it was easily eight feet tall, framed in carved obsidian, pulsing with soft light like it had a heartbeat, and I swore I could feel it watching me.

It was old, the frame tarnished silver worked into a pattern of vines, the glass itself dark, like looking into a pool of standing water rather than a mirror. My reflection didn’t show up in it the way it should have. I turned it over in my hands, then carried it over to where Melissa was sleeping. “Melissa.” I touched her shoulder. “Wake up. I think I found something.” Her eyes opened, blinking blearily, and then sharpened the second they landed on the mirror in my hands. She sat up straighter.

He almost stepped forward but then hesitated. I got into the car without another glance. Wealth, however great, was fleeting without true competence. I recognized that the beggar was Daniel. But so what? We were strangers now.
