The Lycan King’s Caged Princess

The Lycan King’s Caged Princess

Sensing my unease, he reached out and gently placed a weathered hand upon mine, offering reassurance. "Please, do not let the tales unnerve you, my dear. They are but figments of the past, remnants of a bygone era. Yet, there are those who still believe, who fear the night and its mysteries. For them, the mere mention of the vampire myth awakens primal fears." A mixture of curiosity and apprehension filled the air, and I found myself yearning for more. "Have you ever encountered anything supernatural, sir? Anything that has made you question the boundaries of reality?"

With a choir, singing in her living room! “Beth,”Emma said ever so sweetly,“honey, are you totally sure you weren't having a dream? You must realize how this sounds! All this talk of caskets and corn children giving you ominous warnings….did you watch a horror movie before bed?You know how those upset you.” Beth composed herself as best she could.”No, I didn't watch a horror movie Em.I came downstairs thinking I’d left the telly on and there in my living room was a casket with me in it!And a choir of children.”

Romancing the Horror

Romancing the Horror

His wrinkled face looked like it was crawling with countless wriggling worms. I shuddered and stepped back, whispering to Silvia, "Good thing I've got you. This place is terrifying." She snorted and suddenly shoved me forward, straight toward George. With an icy laugh, she said, "This pretty boy will make a great offering. You're going to love him." Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.

The Savage Luna and Her Six Obsessive Monsters

The Savage Luna and Her Six Obsessive Monsters

A horror movie director on drugs? “Why does this place feel like death is flirting with me?” I muttered, hugging myself and peering around like I owed the shadows money. Then I heard it. A low, deep growl that vibrated right into my bones. I froze, pulse jumping, heart somewhere between “run” and “fight your shadow.” And then, Oh God, no...the voice. “Little mate,” it purred, the word mate rolling out of him. “What are you doing out here all alone? Missing me already?”

CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

CUPID'S DARN CURSE.

Those were just stories, because in the blink of an eye, the gentle officer who just stood limp on the side, saying nothing but following orders, fell to the ground, holding his neck and jerking in pain as blood gushed out of his throat. The other one, the particular ‘I know everything’ one, trembles as the devil in my wardrobe grasps him and slowly steps out of the wardrobe, his eyes bloodshot and… soulless. He wasn’t like a living human being. His shadow swallows me as I look up at him like a god, taking steps backwards with shaky legs, until I reach the wall, having nowhere else to retreat to. My pupils can only dance around the scene, straight out of a horror movie… I’m fine, except for

My Monster

My Monster

A monster? The moment we step onto the grounds, the smell hits. It's the smell of copper and rot and something disgusting. My stomach lurches. Kira swears under her breath. Isaiah's jaw tightens as the backup soldiers fan out, their boots silent on the snow, their weapons drawn. Then the chanting reaches us. It's loud enough to vibrate in my bones. My hand rests on my stomach, my palm flattening over my bump on instinct. 'Please,' I think desperately. 'Please be okay.‘

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Nightmare

Nightmare

They are all walking along the road and in the hands of some of them, are the unfortunate people that must have been on the road at the wrong time, and most likely the ones we heard screaming only moments ago. We stand there and listen to the loud stomping of the monsters as they walk along the road. They stop maybe twenty meters away from us, and then suddenly there is silence, a long and painful silence. This last for maybe 5 minutes before a loud booming voice comes out of nowhere and nearly blows my eardrums.

Torn Between Monsters

Torn Between Monsters

I muttered, scared that if the monsters spread how I had come to Raven's room, it'd get to the hearing of both Lucian and Thorne. "Is that what you want?" he asked softly, cupping my face in his cold, steady hands. My eyes reached for his, and I nodded my head. "Alright. I will be right back. Once I talk to them, they won't say a word." With that, he went out of his room. With just one word from him, every monster on the fifth floor came out from their various rooms. Somewhere were vampires, ghouls, and somewhere dragons. I stood by the door, listening to the conversation he was having with them.

Moonbound

Moonbound

His hot breath washed over me, making my skin prickle with fear, and I felt his gaze like a physical touch, making me shudder. The chains creaked and groaned, straining against the beast's fury. I knew it was only a matter of time before Romain broke free, and I was consumed by the horror that loomed before me. The Moon Goddess seemed to have abandoned me, leaving me to face this terror alone.

The Darkside of the Moon

The Darkside of the Moon

They know that what they’re about to do could change everything—that it could destroy them, or worse, turn them into something monstrous. But they also know that they have no choice. The creature is coming, and it will not stop until it has claimed its due. As Dr. Percy's voice crescendos into a sinister chant, the room is swallowed by shadows. The fire in the hearth sputters and dies, plunging the space into an oppressive darkness, where only the ominous glow of the Grimoire’s pages remains. From within the abyss, something stirs—a form, a flicker of a shadowy creature, materializes for a brief, harrowing moment before being swiftly banished. The room brightens once more, as if nothing had
