After a few minutes of being comfortable on the settee, I heard footsteps outside and opened the door. I saw Alarick holding the lead rope of a sorrel horse. “What is with the horse?” “We’ll ride this horse,” he replied and hopped on. I nodded and sighed. He felt the burning pressure and tension on each man that stood by his side. Heron spots a tiny view of Gamma Axel on the farthest end. “Ector Whorms, by the order of the Supernatural Triad Council, you are under arrest for kidnapping, murder, illegal experiments, and soliciting cross-species war.” Heron boomed venomously as his electric blue pupils maxed blood red.

“I’ll sort it out. Tell you all about it later. Thank you, Sarah.” Sort it out. Right. “Alpha Russel, Luna Christy, members of the Goldhawk pack, this is Bellmouth and the Headless Horseman, here by my Mate’s request. Good boy, Bellmouth. Mr Horseman, thank you for coming.” The horseman draws his sword, a long and thin one with a fancy cup bit over his hand and twiddly bits sticking out around the cup. He’s only saluting with it. He sounded more like an evil man than a peacekeeper, but the truth was, this was a one-sided story. The supernatural population were the affected ones, they were bound to have a negative impression of him, and they were bound to tell the story in a way that made them look like the victims. I could only have the full story if I heard from both sides. If the hunters were peace and balance keepers, something must have triggered my grandfather's reaction. After meeting Oscar's mother and knowing how she regarded humans, it was safe to say they must have done something. She talked as if human beings were beneath them, and that could piss anyone off.

For the first time in his life, he was feeling anxious, he thinks that he doesn't know himself and could not control some of his actions since he meet her. "It's... It is the werewolf hunter. I think that she is my mate," Kasper responded in a low tone. The guardian was stunned because of what she heard. "What should I do guardian Kitsune?"

Simon grumbled. "That's ok just tell me everything there is" Jace replied a bit anxious. "Well, all the necromancers are dead. Or rather imprisoned by Celeste and her then husband Erebus because he saw them as too great a threat to all the other supernaturals after one necromancer defied him and brought back someone he'd killed to life. Celeste ruled over the supernaturals but had no control over the necromancers because they didn't see her as their leader. They actually worshipped the lord of The Hallow. Someone by the name of Zaewyn" Simon explained. Jace grew impatient because this wasn't the type of information he's searching for.

Her accent was so thick, it was difficult for Jo to understand. “It’s a crocodile vampire,” Brandon explained. “Holland used to make all sorts of crazy shifter creatures.” “That sounds… horrible,” Pamela said. “Have you ever seen one?” “No, but my dad and Jo’s mom ran into one a long time ago. Cadence killed it,” Brandon said. “Let’s hope we don’t run into anything like that,” Daniel said. “Or anything worse,” Jo said under her breath.

They were remnants of a long-forgotten era, but they'd do the job well enough one more time. Despite what the hunters thought of themselves and the reconnaissance they had performed, they weren't so clever at all. Because regardless of what they thought they'd learned about killing supernaturals, they didn't know shit about Haldir. He was no run-of-the-mill supernatural creature, and he definitely wasn't human anymore. He was something else, a one of a kind creature forged by the gods of both types of beings. Haldir had been stabbed, shot, burned and drowned and none of them had taken. He didn't expect that would change tonight either.

I thought she needed me as much as I needed her, but I guess I was wrong. I walk in my house and lock the door. I walk into my room and curl up in my bed. Who would have thought that my family would return and my girlfriend would change her mind about the spell? Maybe I am meant to spend my life alone. What was I thinking when I fell for the first person to not show fear from the sight of me? Maybe I am just a monster like the villagers said three hundred years ago when I killed the Vampire King. I'm the monster who kills monsters and that's all I'll ever be.
