How Long Should A Chapter Be In A Book Novels & Stories

Most have asked how long the book will be. My editor and I are still discussing it, but it should be around 300 chapters because it will have Zane and Ian's story incorporated. (I won't drag it, I promise. *pinky swears*) If you have any other questions, please comment below, and I'll do my best to answer each and every one of them. I've been on a plane or at a conference the last week, and the next chapters aren't cooperating during my breaks. I plan to post several all at once, once they finally start working. I think we have probably 10-20 chapters until the end.

"As you wish, Alpha." The title still felt strange coming from him—a reminder of how much had changed in such a short time. I glanced back at the table where Dean and the others sat watching our interaction with undisguised interest. “Oh, boys, by the way, I usually write roughly three chapters at a time, edit, and then upload them, but only release one chapter at a time. Currently, the book stands about 18 chapters behind what my notes might say. But then, even my handwritten notes don’t always look the same after I’ve typed them up.” Dean's jaw dropped, and Carter practically vibrated with excitement. "Eighteen chapters ahead?" he sputtered. "That's... that's torture!"

I saw a recent comment about chapter length, i have explained the concept of this earlier but no worries, the new chapters should be longer hopefully. and story is going off track and the chapters are so short. I apologize if you felt that way, but the story is on it's track and I can assure you that you'll find it all sensible at the end of the story. And I would glad and would like you to enjoy whatever is coming. As for short chapters, I did it for your own good. Anyone wants to help me with editing of chapters ? I am thinking of having some rederss to help m with it . You will have to edit at least hundred or thousand words per day. Since that is the amount of words that are right and fourth chapter or somewhere around two thousand I'm not sure if you are interested or not but just a sort of helping me since I'm overloaded with other work but I can write the chapter and give it to you and then later on you can see and edit them hope that works out

This next chapter can be full of tension, suspense, and romantic intensity around 1,050 words. Do you want me to do that next?

) I will be sure they are closer to completion before I begin posting, that way I can have a better set schedule for you all. This book has been ongoing for about 9 months. There is still so much more story that needs to happen and I expect the chapter count to be at least double what it is now, if not more. While I do have an outline, and I know where each of the characters and story will go, I have zero idea how long it will take me to get there. However, I will GUARANTEE it will not be one of those soap opera type books that just keep going and going, like the Energizer bunny, with no end in sight. There will be a definitive end, hopefully within the next 6 months.
