I don't know if I should be glad that Gina did not see anything or worried because I have tons of reports to review, and I need my laptop for it.
Quickly, I plug the charger to a power outlet and connect it to the laptop charging port.
After a few minutes, the once blank screen suddenly lights up. After displaying the laptop's logo, a charging icon appears.
A deep sigh escapes my lips. “Yeah, you're right. I think the battery is down.”
“Now you have nothing to worry about,” she says.
I shove the laptop aside and perch on the edge of the huge table. For a moment we say nothing, just staring at each other.
