He reeked of sour alpha smell. Mattel shook his head, “Look, I don’t really need or want the OCS’s help. I think—“ “Nonsense, nonsense,” chided Agent Smith, “Of course you need our help, you’re failing. Do you even know which path your mate used yet?”

Agent Hernandez whispered to Amy as if he was a doctor. “I was inside a game,” Amy uttered her question through her weak voice, trying to remember. She stared at Agent Hernandez with some light returning to her. “I remember you. You’re my colleague and you’re not human. I make fun of you, calling you my little Astro Boy.” Amy smiled a little as she ran her slender fingers across Agent Hernandez’s chin.

Amaya gritted. “Oh yes, you do…your screams. Now this man here,” he pointed to the hulk, “he will make you scream so loud and I promise they will change their mind after they hear your scream,” his eyes crinkled. “Now begin!” The Hulk snorted deeply as Tommy stepped aside. As he cracked his oddly looking large limbs, Amaya felt her breath caught in her throat. She looked up, fear and helplessness laced in her eyes. “No..you can't do that— get away from me!”

When I pulled the towel down from my face two large figures stood behind Tate. I hadn't heard them or even seen them until now. They came into the light and I recognized them as agent Smith. What were they doing here? How'd they get in? "Tate watch out!" I yelled as one of them pulled a gun out. I ducked behind the cement post beside me. Tate rolled around the corner hiding behind a wall. I could still see him from where I was. Who are these guys really?

But before I could say anything the other man looked back and forth between me and Lily, then he charged toward Lily, his fists clenched, ready to strike. I did not think twice. In one swift motion, I reached into the boot where I had stashed my gun, pulled it out, and slammed the butt of it into Hulk’s head with all my strength. He grunted, staggering back, clutching his head in pain. I did not give him a chance to recover. I hit him again, and this time, his eyes rolled back as he slumped to the ground beside his unconscious partner.
