Hunted Series Books Novels & Stories

‘The hunters’ was all it said on the front, the same book Kyan and Zekan had spent days looking for. I quickly dashed out of the library and headed straight to see Talon. I pushed his heavy doors open to see him sitting in his large chair looking thoughtfully as Zekan and Kyan both sat at the centre table. They all looked straight at me as I bounded into the room. “I found this!” I rushed out as I held out the book to Talon. He looked at it as his eyes widened. “The book about the hunters!” He breathed out as he took it from me. Both Kyan and Zekan stood up from their seats in surprise.

So I wrote this story as adventurously and unapologetically as my imagination would allow. Please don’t let the twists and turns turn you off—Book 2 has actually received even higher reviews than Book 1. I truly hope you’re enjoying The Alpha’s Destiny (The Prophecy) series. ******* WELCOME TO THE ALPHA'S DESTINY 2 (FULFILLING THE PROPHECY) PREVIOUSLY IN THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

Hunter checked his time. 11:24. His flight was at 14:00 hours. He had prepared everything and had packed all his gear. Leaving the country was not on his wishlist but there was nothing he could have done, that was his only way to stay alive. He didn’t expect Hilary to betray him like that. Trust, for him, was a big word but he relied on her. He knew she could deliver but along the way, love happened to her. It was the same love that got her killed. Hunter didn’t have any regrets on Hilary’s murder. Killing had become a hobby for him.

As if knowing my attention was on him, he said silently, "This is the last time you lie to me." Swallowing, I shifted my gaze to the window. Moments dragged by before I rested my forehead on the pane, looking at the thick forests we drove past. Why did he even care anyway? I would have gotten even worse wounds from the torture he would've had his men inflict on me. Through the review mirror, I caught sight of the long line of cars behind us. The Hunt usually spanned a period of just two days. Two days of violently hunting down wild games. The Hunt was a largely anticipated event and I failed to see how something so dangerous could be looked forward to. And not to mention, they'd be killing i

"Have you heard anything about Jason? Is he alive or dead? What about Chloe?" I shook my head immediately. "No, nothing," I replied. "And honestly I don't want to know. Jason is in my past, Danika. Whatever is happening with him and Chloe and the entire Hunt family drama is not my problem anymore." Danika leaned forward with a conspiratorial expression. "Girl, you don't know?" she asked. "Know what?" I frowned. "Hunt Enterprises burnt down," Danika announced. "Like completely burnt down. The entire building went up in flames a few weeks ago. Ever since then, no one has heard anything from the Hunt family. They've gone completely silent."

How could I possibly survive the Hunt? the females were quiet and bothered the males were happy and cheering sick.... Damien stepped forward then, his golden eyes gleaming with authority. “The Hunt is where leaders are born. Where strength rises, and weakness is cut away. I expect every warrior to fight with everything they have.” His gaze swept across the crowd. And for the briefest second, it landed on me. Not with concern. Not with recognition. But with cold expectation. Serena’s smirk widened as whispers swirled around us. I could almost hear their thoughts. She’ll never survive. She’ll fail, just like she always does.

...Hunter POV... I felt like pulling out my hair. For what seemed like the twentieth time now, the Huntress, whoever she was, had managed to foil my plans. I didn't know who this Huntress was, but she was driving me insane. No matter what I did, she always seemed to be one step ahead of me. Earlier on, I sent my men out to capture another lead. We had been tailing him for a week and found an opportunity to grab him discreetly. He was a minister of the government and was known for taking handouts. Making him an easy target for Silvio.

They stopped before me, the engines coming off one after the other. Henrique Crimson Sparrow took off his helmet, his short strawberry blonde visible under the full moon's light. He had a scar running down his chin. He smiled, stepping off his bike. “You nuts have a death wish, Xavier? Coming here alone?” I smiled back, a cold smile devoid of any humor. “Who says I’m alone?” Henrique Crimson Sparrow looked confused, and looked around the space. Henrique followed my movements with his eyes. Then, the forest came to life.

I watched for a moment before walking toward my door. As I was shutting it, I heard Elena whisper, “Go get your man, Auntie.” I shook my head. That girl was a disaster walking, and I absolutely adored the organized chaos that was Elena. I quietly crept down the stairs before slipping out the back door and into the forest. I stopped beneath his tree, looking up, scanning the tree for him but not finding him. “I know you’re here, ‘Sprey. I can feel you.” He sighed as he swung himself down out of the tree. “Hey, Scarlett. I was just leaving. I was hunting a squirrel. They’re fast and good to hunt to keep myself fresh and-”

Once we were in the right place, Old Tim – and the demon possessing his body – were surprisingly easy to find. It was a relief to fall into the familiar routine of hunting. It gave me a chance to shut out my thoughts regarding Harper and Cyrus, and allowed me to focus fully on the task at hand. I was in my element here, stalking the streets of Beerbridge, my hand gripping the rowan knife in my pocket.
