Hunted Series Books Novels & Stories

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest. To be continued… (This book is a Duet, the Hunter and The Hunted. The Hunted i still being written, please see my website for more information. It is on my to be written list after I finish my final revisions of my main series and the spin off completion.)

Hunter checked his time. 11:24. His flight was at 14:00 hours. He had prepared everything and had packed all his gear. Leaving the country was not on his wishlist but there was nothing he could have done, that was his only way to stay alive. He didn’t expect Hilary to betray him like that. Trust, for him, was a big word but he relied on her. He knew she could deliver but along the way, love happened to her. It was the same love that got her killed. Hunter didn’t have any regrets on Hilary’s murder. Killing had become a hobby for him.

" Understood eight twelve, reinforcement is already on the way." A child's birthday, oh god. Proles, these genetically engineered animals were monsters and Maddox had already seen with his own eyes what these beasts could do. He didn't want to imagine what she would be waiting for at her destination. But he would find out, because he was Venator, a state-approved hunter whose job it was to get the prole plague under control.

That was something no hunter had ever managed. I just hoped Riley was still alive. The forest grew denser with every step, the shadows deepening as sunlight gave way to darkness. My wounds burned with every move I made, each twinge in my stomach reminding me how much time I didn’t have Then, after what felt like hours of tracing faint trails, I spotted them: boot prints. Eight pairs and just too damn right. My pulse quickened as I crouched down, studying the tracks. One set stood out. The steps were uneven, the weight shifting in a way that suggested whoever they belonged to had stumbled—been pushed, maybe even dragged.

I was engaged with a book about hunters which I got from William's old book collection. Hunters were half human and half supernatural. They looked like humans but has speed of werewolves. They can detect any werewolves near by. Their violet eyes starts glowing. Unlike other supernatural creatures hunters did not have other supernatural powers other than their speed that they can only use if their prey is near them.

A few people are milling around, but it's mostly deserted. "I'll start on this side; why don't you start on that side?" I tell Dorian. He's a werewolf. "Sure." We go our separate ways and begin searching. The first house I come to is partially standing but may fall if I touch anything. I carefully approach, and Hunter begins sniffing the air to see if he can pick up the scent of any humans.

The rage swirling in them demanded death. This man was dangerous. I licked my lips, snatching his attention to my mouth. Blue eyes darkened more. "I wasn't snooping, nor was I the other day," I said, surprisingly with an even tone. Though my heart raced to miles. "I was just… looking for you. And then I found you choking a girl against the wall." His head tilted. "Scared, Ms. Brooks?" Slightly. You most likely killed a crime lord. Now you almost killed a girl. What do you expect?

“My sister-in-law and the relic Odin himself gave her to protect. My brother has been searching for her and I haven’t heard from him in months, I have been working with Valhalla Bridge to find my sister-in-law and my brother and hopefully the relic she protects.” No wonder the order was so set on recovering the stolen property. He moved closer to me, placing his hands on my shoulders, “I know this is a lot to take in, I can let you digest it, and we can talk about it later, ok?” I frowned, “what’s there to think about, we have to find her and the relic. Before they do, gods know what with it.” “My wolf sees you as his mate, I want to give you time to process that because I am hoping you will
