Hunter X Hunter Completed Novels & Stories

But seeing Zane like that, understanding the possibility that this is the end of his life… it broke something in me. I start to fire the gun. Over and over. As many times as I can. This time, my aim remains true. The bullets don’t ricochet. They all hit Hunter. On his chest, his abdomen, his shoulders, his limbs. I go again and again, walking closer to him, watching him fall and choke. The joy gets wiped out of his eyes. His laughter peters out. Hunter goes from cackling to screaming to sobbing. Then there’s silence.

Another scar reminding him that this wasn't the she-wolf who held his spirit captive. "I think this was the only way the path could end." Harrison’s brow furrowed. He loathed the accuracy in her words, hated the ease with which she spoke them. But more than anything, he loathed himself for not seeing the snare sooner. Serena chose that moment to turn her gaze back toward him. "View it as the final ritual. Closure." "Closure?" he echoed, wanting to flinch at the hollow sound of his own howl. "How is this the end of the hunt? We are not finished, Serena."

Tomorrow is our last day here and today we trying to complete Hunter's bucket list of eating 200 crossiant in a day. "I can't believe you talked me into doing this"Azrael complained for the 15th time. "Have you seen his puppy dog eyes...I couldn't say no to him"I tell her as we wait for our order. "What is even wrong with you Hunter?200 crossiant....you trying to kill us. I should have never said hi to you in pre school"she rolls her eyes "Ummm...you didn't say hi to me. If I remember...you basically hit me in the leg and Ireal had to apologize on your behalf. She said hi to me first"he smirks

However, I couldn't find any logical explanation for my rapid heart rate. I cleared my throat. "So, how was the book?" I quickly switched to a safer subject. His eyes lingered for a few seconds before he slid his gaze to the Harry Potter book on the table. "It was good. I'm currently reading The Order of Phoenix." I nodded. "Are you close to the ending?" Hunter took the book and flipped it open. He flipped through a few pages as if he was trying to find a certain page. "Apparently not." He showed the page to me. "I'm halfway there though."

I had only seen Mildred and Garren shift, so this was new. Hunter wasn’t nearly as big as Garren, but he was bigger than Mildred. His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.

"Did we get him? Troy, are you okay?" "I'm fine, thanks to you and the Luna," Troy assured him. "And yes, we got them all. The Pure Blood Order is finished." Hunter closed his eyes, some of the tension leaving his face. "Good. That's... good." "How's your pain level?" I asked. "Do you need more medication?" "I'm okay," Hunter started to say, then caught Carson's sharp look. "Actually, it hurts like hell. But I can move everything, so that's something."

I can hear Hunter grumble, ‘Useless Human’ under his breath as he makes quick work of joining Salara who is already deep into battle. Launching through the air, we tackle a wolf that was about to pounce on Salara’s back while she was unaware. Hunter makes quick work of the wolf, going straight for the throat and snapping its neck with no remorse. The wolf shifts back into it’s human form, causing us to pause when we are left staring at the lifeless body of Josiah, one of our missing pack mates.

Hunter knew all too well that every decision comes with its consequences. He made a deal with the Patels' to get rid of Ludo but he didn’t hold his end of the bargain. Despite this, Hunter was no man to be intimidated by the Patels. As a matter of fact, they were out of the picture for him because he had finally got what he sought after; the manuscript. As soon as he got home, he printed the whole manuscript out, took it with him into his carnage backyard and treated himself to some reading. He never remembered when he had read like that but he was determined to finish reading the whole story that very day.

You wouldn’t want anyone just walking around with something that can kill you. It was meant for the whole underworld when it was created eons ago but no one really knows the truth behind the fire. So without that piece this hunter is really just dead weight. Maybe declaring to kill him was an exaggeration. I sigh internally while keeping my face still and showing no emotion. What should I do? “What did u mean, kid? With what you said?” The hunter scoffs and rolls his eyes, he’s barely moved and I take a good look at him. Sharp jaw line, pitch black hair that barely passes his ears, sharp features and nice lips.

I did a little twirl in the middle of the room and started combing the bookshelves to see what treasures I could find. I was just too excited to have found this place. I came across a smaller leather-bound book that had a weird symbol on the front and when I opened it, I realized that it was a history of the Hunter's. I decided to keep that book just in case I needed it. I was totally in my own world when I felt someone’s arms go around me and breath in my ear. "I see you found my favorite place in the house." My body shivered at the contact. I thought that I was going to melt into a puddle right then and there.
