He closed back the door while I started pulling off my maid's uniform. ~ Out of the mansion, I hopped into the car while he sat in the driver seat. He ignited the car and drove off. We passed through the second gate and into the driveway. I was amazed at finding out that there was a cemented road in the forest. The hunters made me pass through the cave and I didn't know that there was something like a driveway. Gosh!, don't be ridiculous now, where do you think they come with cars?. It never crossed my mind at all.

Gavin said, and I smiled at the guys. "No female hunter?" I asked. I knew the reason but wanted to hear from the horse's mouth. "Ruth won't like that, Karen," he answered with a knowing look on his face. After the introduction, the atmosphere was a lot pleasant. We were able to crack some jokes while we ate. No one asked me personal questions, and neither did I ask them. After breakfast, Gavin took me to the library to check out some hunter's books. There were books about vampires, witches, werewolves and other creatures that I did not dream of ever meeting. There were books on alchemy, mild magic, and creating and using charms.

From the auras blanketing the place, I could tell it was filled with very powerful Alphas and Betas.
