When he was gone, I sat down slowly, heart thundering in my chest. I didn’t cry. But I also didn’t get anything done for the rest of the day.

I cleared my throat to get Ann’s attention. I glanced at Ann, "Hey, er-I know, I promised I'd tell you about what happened yesterday, and I will, but I just need some time," I swallowed. “Alright then,” Ann said sternly. Aiden is supposed to attend school today. Nope. After yesterday, I'm still not ready to face him. I'm still trying to convince myself that he's my mate. Anyway, all I have to do now is get through the day without running into him.

Cleared it up before it had the chance to become anything. But I didn’t. Not today. Today was about the twins. Everything else could wait.

I am at a loss of words. I didn’t say anything. I don’t know what the hell just happened, but all of a sudden, I got up. I had this urge that I needed to go for a run. It wasn’t too late and it wasn’t cold. So I put my sneakers on and I left. I left without saying anything. I grabbed my earpods and left.

I thought I was going to fall, but luckily I made it to the bathroom safely. I stayed inside for a few minutes and when it was over, I went out. I chose clothes to wear then went back to the bathroom to take a shower. I don't have any plans today. I don't have a schedule of classes and I don't have an appointment either. My only plan this morning is to go to the gym to work out. If Ali and I are okay now, I will invite him to the gym so that we can both exercise, but don't do it for now.

I wanted him to hold me and tell me he could solve the problem. I needed some form of sanity. But my mind kept spinning between all the disasters of the day and I didn’t think I was going to have a productive day. I was supposed to finish the Valis software today but I was scared of touching it. Maybe I had a Shit touch today.

Adam Wilson I threw the cup on the wall and it shattered into pieces. This was probably the third thing I've smashed this afternoon... Still in the aftermath of yesterday's unpleasant situation, I haven't even blinked an eye to sleep. All night I tossed and turned up until dawn. I've spent my whole day drinking, but I'm not drunk. I have work to do but I postponed everything because I wasn't in the right state of mind. Today my main focus was not on business although it was very related to it, it was on something much more personal. A slight clash between the two.

The hot bath wasn’t enough to wash away the feeling. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Not much different from yesterday. “Hey, Siri. What's today's weather?”
