If you like this story, “A Wonderful Kind of Love” picks up where it leaves off. Laura “Oh God, it's him.” Laura wished she could just melt into the floor and vanish for a few hours. Of course he had to come to this. He was the last person she wanted to see today.

I couldn’t miss it but it also didn’t rule my world. “What is this?” I asked them. Audrey held my shoulder and smiled sheepishly. “It’s hope.” Hope… it felt wrong, selfish but I couldn’t help the fuel it brought into me. Inspiration, I started to believe that eventually, as much as I was destroyed by Khai’s death and the destruction was still in effect – tearing through me without abandon – I’d be alright. But I never said that to anyone.

It can't be—" Jimmy begins to tremble terribly. He couldn't think straight, just at the thought of losing his beloved Hyun. "Jimmy, calm down. That won't help. Hurry up!" Margaret almost yelled at him as his body stiffened.

"Liv, if he's the right person for you, he won't leave just because of your past. Trust is built over time, and if he's worth it, he'll understand." Her words struck a chord within me, and a subtle sense of dread began to gnaw at the edges of my thoughts. As much as I wanted to believe in the strength of our connection, the fear of losing him who had slowly become so important to me was a weight I couldn't ignore. I took a deep breath, trying to push aside the apprehension that threatened to cloud my newfound happiness. I found myself silently wondering, "I hope he understands, will he?"
