The ice only coated its surface. The massive paw hit Victor in the chest. THUD. Victor flew backward. He smashed into a stone sarcophagus. The impact pulverized the ancient granite.

He shot toward Javier with unstoppable force and a burst of momentum not unlike the very first eruption of a volcano.
