I said over my shoulder, nervously glancing at him.
“Benny,” he murmured, pausing by the edge of the breakfast bar.
“Yeah?” I opened the fridge and pulled out lettuce and tomatoes for the salad. “Take a seat. This will be quick.” I froze, feeling his brawny arms around my waist.
“You’re shaking,” he murmured, his lips hovering over my ears.
I straightened up, wiggling out of his hold. “I’m dirty, Kai,” I reasoned, but his arms tightened around me.
