Hailstorm’s POV I crashed onto the wall, feeling his mouth assaulting my own and whilst his teeth clasped onto my bottom lip, I felt as if my brain had just entered a tornado. Or maybe that was just the heavy doses of alcohol I had consumed throughout the night. I opened my mouth, letting his tongue battle mine in a beautiful glorious fight, letting his explore every nook and cranny of my numbed mouth. His hands wrapped around my ass, squeezing the skin which urged me to wrap my legs around his waist, combing my fingers through his hair. His mouth slowly moved away from mine, making me whimper in protest.

Liam pov The storm followed them. Not a normal storm, but a trembling in the air invisible waves that made the metal hull of the aircraft hum with something close to pain. Liam could feel it in his teeth, a vibration like a low growl buried deep inside the earth. The clouds outside were endless, a restless grey sea that swallowed light whole.

The shockwave flattened every tree within fifty feet, sending water and mud spraying high into the air. Silas collapsed forward into the muck, gasping for breath. “It’s… closed,” he whispered. For a heartbeat, the swamp was silent except for the groans of the wounded and the distant sound of thunder. But the air wasn’t still. Adonis tilted his head toward the sky. Rain poured harder now, sheets of it drenching the battlefield. The wind picked up, bending cypress trees like reeds. “This isn’t a normal storm,” Odessa said, pulling wet strands of hair from her face.

I spit before walking out if the house without a second glance at her ... I grab the grocery bags from behind my car along with the little something I got Stormy, to appeal for my pride. I hope she accepts it. The elevator door opened and I step out going for my condo, I type in the code before walking in. The sigh in front of me makes me drop the bags to the floor in disbelief. Stormy POV

"Yes, I come here at this time a lot so that I can clear my mind and sort out the issues that worry me." Storm was surprised at how genuine he was, he was a different Chase, and started to swim towards the waterfall. Chase had not moved and when she swam back he was still gazing at the moon and he seemed to be writing some characters in the air. "Is that a sign?"

He whispered brokenly, his shaking hand coming up to cover his mouth. Now Storm was just confused., although deep down she was drawn to this stranger, she felt her soul reaching out to him. “Uhmmm,” She muttered looking now at Tasha who was also staring at the man with tears streaking down her cheeks, “Can anyone tell me what is going on here?” Tasha faced her with red eyes and smiled sadly, then laughed wiping her tears, “It is a long story Storm. One which would really interest you,” Storm frowned, backing up as the man took a few more steps closer to her.

**Hearts in the Storm** The storm outside rages on, mirroring the chaos within the cabin. Rain lashes against the windows, lightning occasionally illuminating the dark forest that surrounds them. Inside, tension simmers. Ethan, Sophia, Max, and Jason are all on edge, with danger looming just beyond the walls. The fire crackles, but its warmth does little to comfort them. As the gunshot echoes in the distance, fear tightens its grip on everyone, but it’s the weight of the secrets that has shattered the fragile trust between them.
