Liam pov The storm followed them. Not a normal storm, but a trembling in the air invisible waves that made the metal hull of the aircraft hum with something close to pain. Liam could feel it in his teeth, a vibration like a low growl buried deep inside the earth. The clouds outside were endless, a restless grey sea that swallowed light whole.

My heart thumps frantically, adrenaline mixing with fear as I wipe off sweaty palms on my shirt. My eyelids twitch, breathing turning ragged when I feel a force from behind me. Black fog lifts from above me, a gust of wind blowing alongside, sweeping gravel and sand into the air so that it forms very small tornados. Loose curls dance to the pressure, blocking part of my vision, dust gathering in my nose. I barely blink when the fog clears completely, its replacement a bluish cloud that seems to blend into the ground like a backdrop.

Craig’s POV The storm’s fury roared louder, tearing through the canopy and battering us with sheets of rain that numbed skin and blurred vision. Every crack of thunder felt like a punch to my chest, each lightning strike illuminating twisted branches and the jagged outline of Zane's territory with stark, fleeting clarity. The ground beneath my boots was a slick, treacherous mess of mud and water, threatening to swallow me whole with every step. I clenched my fists, fighting the instinct to slip or fall, knowing that even the smallest misstep would betray us in this chaos.

I spit before walking out if the house without a second glance at her ... I grab the grocery bags from behind my car along with the little something I got Stormy, to appeal for my pride. I hope she accepts it. The elevator door opened and I step out going for my condo, I type in the code before walking in. The sigh in front of me makes me drop the bags to the floor in disbelief. "Yes, I come here at this time a lot so that I can clear my mind and sort out the issues that worry me." Storm was surprised at how genuine he was, he was a different Chase, and started to swim towards the waterfall. Chase had not moved and when she swam back he was still gazing at the moon and he seemed to be writing some characters in the air. "Is that a sign?"

He whispered brokenly, his shaking hand coming up to cover his mouth. Now Storm was just confused., although deep down she was drawn to this stranger, she felt her soul reaching out to him. “Uhmmm,” She muttered looking now at Tasha who was also staring at the man with tears streaking down her cheeks, “Can anyone tell me what is going on here?” Tasha faced her with red eyes and smiled sadly, then laughed wiping her tears, “It is a long story Storm. One which would really interest you,” Storm frowned, backing up as the man took a few more steps closer to her.

**Hearts in the Storm** The storm outside rages on, mirroring the chaos within the cabin. Rain lashes against the windows, lightning occasionally illuminating the dark forest that surrounds them. Inside, tension simmers. Ethan, Sophia, Max, and Jason are all on edge, with danger looming just beyond the walls. The fire crackles, but its warmth does little to comfort them. I close my eyes, focusing on her fingers soothingly stroking my hair and the comforting rhythm of her heartbeat. I’m the only one who can calm her down. She’s been to an odd number of therapists but none of which can help her.

She could feel the worms wriggling in her heart, the squirming of the worms made her stomach queasy. However, her attention was suddenly diverted as a gust of cold wind swept across her face, and blew her long hair. The gust of wind carried voices whispering in her ear, not the whispers of the surrounding leaves, but other whispers that she could understand. Leah looked left and right, it seemed that no one felt the gust of wind and whispers except for her. Even Mia and Grace who were standing so close to her didn't feel what she felt.
