It Calls Me And No One Knows Novels & Stories

The bell rang soon after that and I walked out of the class. While I was on my way to the cafeteria, my phone rang. When I checked it out, it was from an unknown number. and I picked it up. "hello?" There wasn't any reply at first. "Hello?!" i tried again, still no response from the other line. Finally, someone spoke,"I told you to meet me at the club. Why aren't you here?" It was a male voice. "Why should I listen to some stranger?" I asked back with annoyance.

Most of the calls from unknown numbers I get when I didn’t give out my number or was a misdialed number are usually males and since this lady know my name, it means she was trying to reach me on purpose. “Yes, this is Stella Andrews, what can I do for you?” “You need to pay attention to A.I. if you are not the one who is invoking these changes.” The pleasant tone of the lady turned harsh as I stared at the phone in shock. “Excuse me?” I questioned provoked at this unknown lady attack.

After I ate my lunch, I went back to my office and started my work when I received a call directly on my number. I furrowed my brows and grabbed my phone beside the table. I looked at the unknown number and decided not to answer it. But the unknown caller keeps on calling. That's why I ended up answering the call with an irritating voice. "Who are you?! Why do you keep calling?! I'm busy?!" I immediately started here. I was so busy and then the call came. Who is this? This number is not registered on my phone? Damn! It's not April fool's yet! They are so advance!

Please let that have been a dream. Slowly — cautiously — she reached for her phone. Her fingers hovered above the screen. If the call log wasn’t there, she would never drink again. She unlocked it. Recent Calls. Unknown Number. 12 minutes. Her heart started beating louder. She tapped it, half expecting more. There wasn’t. No follow-up call. No messages. No missed attempts. Nothing. The absence sat heavier than anything else could have. If he was weird, wouldn’t he have texted? If he was curious, wouldn’t he have tried again?

And honestly, it’s embarrassing… after what I did at his wedding. Even worse, he accused me of killing his fiancée. My phone suddenly vibrated. Who’s calling me? It's an unknown number. "Hello, this is Katherine Del Vega. How can I help you?" I waited a few seconds… but no one responded. "Hello? Is anyone there? Can you hear me? How may I help you?" Still nothing. So I ended the call. What the heck? Calling and not saying anything? Then a message popped up on my screen.

A piercing noise kept on ringing inside my ear and I wondered where it was coming from. I fluttered my eyes open that was still heavy with sleep and found my phone on the nightstand, knocking over the lamp in the process. I grabbed my phone and checked the screen to see a ‘no caller ID,’ which was weird because I don't usually give anyone my contacts, even the police. “Who's this?” “Yo Zamani. How good are you at handling business?” I groaned at the person's nonchalance and disrespect. “North, is that you?”

My mind turned blank as I stared at my phone screen. It was an unknown number, even though the caller was someone I very much knew. Technically, I wasn’t one who usually answered calls from an unknown number but between all the things running in my head and Sam, I had failed to notice who was calling me.

“Hello?” I answered the call even though it is an Unknown number being flash on my phone screen. I notice how Levi, who is still sitting on the pool side, look at me. I move backwards to hear something from the speaker but like earlier, the caller is silent and I have no clue who this person is. “Hello, are you mute?” I annoyingly stated and was about to check the screen when the call ended right away. My brows formed a straight line. What are people up these days? I thought to myself.

I wasn’t expecting any call from anybody. I stretched my hand and reached out for my phone to know it was that was calling me. “how can it be a new number?” it sounds strange; I can’t remember having anyone out there who should be calling me. The only family I have now which is Jane and Jack are always around me and mostly we talk at home and not even on calls, so, who could it be that wants to talk to me and calling with an unknown number?

I spaced out for too long that Kenneth noticed it with ease. "Is everything okay, Valerie?" He asked worriedly but I nodded. "Hopefully" I mumbled in response and a frown crept up his handsome face. "What do you mean? Is it a call from home or the company?" He asked but I shook my head. "Then who was it that called you" he asked again and I shook my head in confusion. "I have no idea, Ken" I replied and he shot me a questioning look. "I don't know who called, it was an unknown number and when I took the call, I heard nothing. The caller hangs up before uttering a single word" I explained and he smiled.
