It Calls Me And No One Knows Novels & Stories

As I wait, my phone buzzes on the counter. I look at the number. Unknown. (617)-722-0000. I watch it ring until it stops. It’s not from Massachusetts, but something nags me in the back of my brain. I frown. “Something wrong, Ophelia?” asks Mom. My phone buzzes with a Missed Call Notification. I watch it to see if a message will pop up. “No,” I answer. I take my plate out of the microwave. “Motherfucker!”

“That wicked sister of mine! Why would she confess my feelings for you when I haven’t done it myself?” Vivienne chuckled. “So, are you going to let this chance slip away from your hands?” “Alright! Let’s go to the park.” My phone suddenly rang. An unregistered number appeared. No one knows my private number unless I know them personally. Who must this caller be? “Wait! I’ll just take this call.” “Sure.” I turned away from Vivienne and took the call. But no one is talking from the other side. What is wrong with the caller?

And how often can you really do that? I sighed and headed to the door before I felt my phone vibrate. Who could it possibly be, especially since this is an empty house? Well, that's what I had told myself. I picked up and pressed the button with my right thumb, "Hello?" The reply that greeted me was unexpected. Not only was it unfamiliar, but it didn't sound like anyone in the caller ID was actually familiar or knew me very well. That would be odd though. No one knows where I live, so even if they tried, no one would ever find me by searching around the area near me. It's impossible unless they somehow got the address from someone else.

"That's not a problem. I better head back now; I have a business meeting with some clients." "Alright." Mr. Stephen left, and I attempted to focus on my work. A few minutes later, my phone rang with a private number displayed on the caller ID. Who could be calling me with a private number? Answering the call cautiously, I asked, "Hello, who's this?" All I heard was the loud, steady rhythm of someone breathing. I felt a sense of unease, unsure of who was on the other side and what their intentions might be. I strained to make out any other noise. Was it a prank, a wrong number, or something more ominous?

I pulled away after a few minutes knowing where this will lead if I don't stop him, "can we call it a night..." He nodded his head, "I'll call you okay..." I took my phone and there still was no text not call from any unknown number.. not even my sister. Great.. fucken great..

Doesn't her jaw hurt? As I started the engine, my phone began ringing. I picked it up immediately, thinking it was Benita, but I was disappointed with the unknown number that displayed on my screen. Clearing my throat, I picked up the call and placed it to my ears, “Hello?” “Hi, can we meet?” An unknown elderly voice sounded at the other end of the call. I paused, “Sorry, do I know you?” I asked calmly, What's with meeting weird people today?

I never thought sex could blind a man so completely. My phone buzzed once more, this time displaying an unknown number on the screen. Maybe this call is from Neil; otherwise, who will call me from an unknown number? Except for my close friends, I kept my phone number private. I tapped my phone's receive button right away, pleased at the thought that it might be Neil's call. "Thank God, you called me Neil." There is no voice on the other end of the phone. "I know it's you, Neil, so why didn't you speak?" The silence on the other end confirmed my suspicions that these could be calls from Neil.

My phone kept vibrating nonstop with notification sounds. Faith stood up and asked, "Messages from Rita?" I glanced at the contact name and nodded. The corners of her lips curved upward into a smile.

Mandy was having a rest when her phone started ringing. She checked but she saw that it was an unknown number. At first, she didn't want to answer her phone but when the phone rang about three times, she picked. All she heard from the caller was, "I am coming for you. I shall really let you know that you are still a learner in this game." Mandy was wondering who called and what he meant by he is coming for her. She tried calling the number back but it was off. She was in deep thought.

The caller ID showed an unknown number and out of curiosity , she quickly answered the call. “Hello?” Natasha said. There was no reply. “Hello? Who is this?” she repeated. Still, there was only silence. Natasha felt nervous. “Is someone there? What do you want?” No answer came. “This isn’t funny. If you have something to say, say it!” Two minutes passed in silence, then the call ended. Natasha stared at the phone, confused and uneasy. She tried calling back, but the line didn’t connect. A message said, “The number you have dialed is not in service.”
