It's a threshold, a point of no return. As the taxi carries me away from the familiar, the tears I've restrained finally break free. I sob uncontrollably, the weight of the pain and loss I'm enduring crashing over me like a relentless wave. My Grandma died some few years ago but not after telling me everything I have to know, not after leaving a great burden on my shoulders. It was after her death that I decided to relocate. Thea tried all her best to let me stay but I told her I had to leave for my own good. I know that it is bad and very coward of me to always relocate when I am betrayed. Tom asked without stopping his pace. "Andreas knows. And I need your support, Tom. You were the first person to help me before I even knew who I was," Andien said reasonably. "I can't believe you don't have a male friend to work with," Tom grumbled. "I don't know any other men. My first man was Kenan, but he broke my heart," Andien replied quietly. "Are you serious?" "I am serious." "Why do you want to break up with Kenan and get involved with me?" Tom asked, demanding Andien's honesty.

He patted my back, “It breaks my heart to hear you cry. It feels like I’m getting burnt alive. Stop, please.” He pleaded, ripping my torn heart even further.

Chapter 2: Unveiling the Truth I walked into my apartment, feeling like the weight of the world had collapsed on me. The walls of my life were crumbling—James, work, everything. The memory of getting fired flashed through my mind, followed by the cruel end to my relationship with James. Everything was spiraling out of control, and all I could do was blink back the tears. I could careless if your hurting right now because I don't care about you or your feelings!" My heart shattered into a million different pieces as tears streamed down my face. "Fuck you!" I said pushing past the crowd of people who were listening to our conversation. I didn't care who saw me cry I just wanted to get out of that house and away from him.

I stopped in the last five steps of the stairs when I saw Wright playing his guitar while sitting on the one sitter sofa. "Let me hold you for the last time, it's the last chance to feel again. But you broke me, now I can't feel anything. When I love you it's so untrue, I can't even convince myself. When I'm speaking it's the voice of someone else. Oh, it tears me up, I tried to hold on but it hurts too much. I tried to forgive but it's not enough, to make it all okay. " "Can't sleep?" I winced when he spoke.

“It’s tied to something. Something in you.” I shook my head, tears threatening to spill over. “I don’t know what it is, but it’s getting worse.”
