Leesa's Advent
Santa Ana or not, at least he would start this day off cool.
He toweled off quickly, leaving his newly shortened hair damp. The ponytail was gone, sheared off a few days ago by a young Asian girl at a franchise salon two blocks from his apartment. He combed his short, thick locks straight back, then lathered his face and shaved. Very respectable looking, he thought after rinsing his face and checking himself in the mirror. Not at all frightening—just an everyday kind of guy. He padded back into the bedroom and completed the look by donning a pair of gray walking shorts and a loose-fitting blue and orange Hawaiian print shirt just wild enough to make any tourist proud.
