She signaled at her bodyguards, and they stopped Jade in her path. Jade panicked. "W-What are you trying to do?" "You don't remember me anymore?" Jane slowly walked over to Jade. She said maliciously, "I remember you. You're Howard Hough's daughter. Have you really forgotten that we met? Do you need me to refresh your memory?"

Jade collapsed backward immediately after speaking. Caelan swiftly dropped the umbrella he held, caught her falling body, and removed his suit jacket to cover her. She wouldn't be here to make fun of Jack when he goes into Beta mode around the warriors and visiting packs, or when Jeremy whips the new recruits into shape, making the goofy grin that only she can see from across the field as his opponent's face is buried into the dirt.

How have you been? I was just thinking about you!" Audrey's voice exudes excitement and affection as she greets Jade. His laughter fills the air as he responds, "I knew it was you who was missing me. No wonder I was getting hiccups."
