I nodded, took the lighter from my pocket, and burned the pictures. "I have some news," He tried to tempt me before I could leave. I tilted my head and glanced at him. My hand on the gun just in case he was wasting my time. "But I'd need those thirty thousand if you wish to hear it," He told me. "What about you tell me the news, and then I kill you?" I asked, and he straightened up quickly. "This is going to get you killed someday," I heard him mutter under his breath. I pondered if I should show him my new gun, but he spoke up before that, "But I'll throw you a bone today. James is dead."

She tried to run towards me but another held her down. She screamed as one of them lunged for me, then stopped mid-air, slammed backward by something invisible. Gunfire. Two sharp shots. Then silence. Within seconds, three of Xavier’s men appeared, black-clad and efficient. The rogues were on the ground before they could shift. “Luna,” one of them said, bowing slightly, “are you hurt?” I blinked, breathing hard. “You… who sent you?” The man didn’t hesitate. “Alpha’s orders. We were told to keep watch until you were safely inside. We apologize for not making ourselves known sooner, however, we did not expect things to escalate this way.”

She drove me crazy every minute I couldn't touch her. KATE A lady comes in, accompanied by Ryan's jack-of-all-trades. I still didn't know what James' exact position was, security? Driver? Jack-of-all-trades applied better, to me. "Okay, James. Thank you," she was strangely familiar. The features resembled Ryan's a lot. Blonde hair tied in a low bun, beautiful green eyes, and impeccable posture. Her face had a kind expression. "Good morning!" I say as I stand up. "Do you have an appointment, ma'am?"

The guard's voice drifted into my ears making me remove my hands from my eyes to see who he was talking to. "Huh?" I froze seeing the figure in my front, it was Alpha Kyle, the last person I had expected to be here. Was he here to make things hard for me again? I just couldn't understand what was going on and could only stare blankly. "What do you think you are doing?" Alpha Kyle growled as he stared at me. "Kneel!" Immediately, I felt an invisible pressure pressing down on me forcing me to my knees. Even though he was staring directly at me, I didn't dare to look straight into his eyes. I knew I might be whipped again if I did that. So to prevent such from happening, I had to avoid looking

Of course, I love my mom but my dad always has her protected so I don't need to worry too much. Luckily for me, I have Will here with me and as my Gamma, it's his job to have control over the warrior's patrol shifts. "Will, do you know if Ryan and Tony are on patrol today?" He stares up at the sky as he thinks before shaking his head "No, they are on the night shift tonight on the East border." Oh, dear God, earth swallow me now. James placed his hand on the small of my back and leaned forward, extending his hand toward Enzo for a handshake. "James Gunner."

Diego nodded excitedly, "GJ. Do you know what that means?" Shin shrugged, not understanding. "It's the brand name of the manufacturing company. Damn it, how am I supposed to know what it is? You're ... the staff who supplies the weaponry." Diego smiled widely, "GJ. Gardner, James. James Gardner. Your gun was made by James, senior."
