Fortunately, he didn't do anything as he walked past me and stopped right in front of Ivan. He stretched his hand and Mary, without any hesitation, placed her gun in his palm. James lifted the gun, aiming at Ivan's head. "Finally, the day has come. I can't wait to get rid of you. I have always hated you," he said, cackling at his own remark. The next thing that James did was shocked me to my core. He shifted his gun from Ivan to Mary. "What are you doing boss?" Fear, was afraid in her tone.

“What the hell?” “That’s not even the worst part.” I paused, picked up my fork, and stabbed a piece of waffle. “The bastard pulled a gun on me.” Josh froze. “Wait, James had a gun? Like a real one? Bang bang?” I chewed slowly, letting the sweet syrup coat my tongue before nodding. “Yeah. He was ready to shoot me, right there in his damn office. If his father hadn’t shown up...
