Billionaire secret sweep

Billionaire secret sweep

My sentiments will not be quelled. You must permit me to tell you how vigorously I appreciate and adore you.” Jane Austen Pride And Prejudice THE Following MORNING he was showered and out the entryway some time recently nine. He’d returned to Isadora’s house late final night, but she was as responsive as the day some time recently. It was his day to volunteer at The Women’s House, so Isadora anticipated him not to linger. As he got on the street, he pointed his car toward the city. Uncertain where he’d discover the one individual he required, he dialed Scout.

Instead he said, “What are you reading?” She looked up this time. “Why?” she asked. “You’ve read it before,” he said. “The spine is worn.” She glanced down at the book, thumb brushing the edge like she hadn’t noticed that herself. “Persuasion,” she said. “Jane Austen.” He nodded. “Yeah, the one where they almost lose each other.” “You’ve read it?” “My sister did,” he said. “She used to leave it on the kitchen table, I read the first half by accident over about six months of breakfasts.”

Rejected by my Husband

Rejected by my Husband

But somehow, with her, I was losing control all over again. Every damn thing reminded me of her. Even this room, neat, warm, filled with shelves of books. My eyes lingered on the titles stacked perfectly by the wall. Jane Austen. Oscar Wilde. Emily Brontë. She loved those. I could still remember the way she’d sit by the window with a cup of tea, reading for hours. She’d hum softly, sometimes reading out loud lines she found beautiful. And I’d tease her, tell her those old books made no sense but secretly, I liked listening.

Between the Mobster and the CEO

Between the Mobster and the CEO

I open it with curiosity and I jump up my seat when I realize what it is. “Leopold this is crazy! How did you get this?!” I ask perplexed. “No, it’s not crazy, it’s a present. Do you like it?” Leopold asks amused. “How could I not? Are you kidding? Of course, I do!” I exclaim thrilled. Inside the package, there is a three-volume first edition from 1816 of the novel Emma by Jane Austen. I look at the old books in disbelief. This is an invaluable antique. It must have been extremely expensive and hard to get.

The Bad Boy Is My Tutor

The Bad Boy Is My Tutor

I wanted to read, to do something that reminded me of normalcy. I looked at my growing shelf of books and decided to pick Pride and Prejudice. It was one of my favorite books as I was a sucker for romance novels. I flipped to the first page and began. "It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

Pride & Prejudice is in the public domain; however, giving credit where credit is due, it is the work of the absolutely brilliant Jane Austen. Anything you recognize is hers, the rest is mine. I'm just taking the opportunity to shake things up a bit. Or rather take the good fortune and coincidence scattered throughout the work and cranking it up a notch or three. Chapter 1

The Luna Prophecy

The Luna Prophecy

I was required to do well in school, stay pure, which meant don’t hang out with boys, get classes in decorum, dancing, party planning, budget management, and everything else that was really boring to a teenage girl. My parents would fill my schedule, making it impossible for me to maintain friendships, and the only free time I had I would spend reading books. My favorites were romance novels from the 19th century. It was the exact opposite of life inside the Mystic Shadow Pack. Women in Jane Austen’s novels were fully dressed, and even showing an ankle could be scandalous, but here men and women were naked half the time, and other times they were dressed in skimpy clothes. People would shift

Miss Behave
I love this book as it is not only well written, but it also deals with subjects like domestic violence, and understandably this can be triggering I have found that it has been nothing but cathartic! Naomi D is a fantastic writer and I have enjoyed reading all of her books especially this one,

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

She took a fry from his tray and threw it into her mouth. "The day I had to get the ring, I guess you weren't at the library then or would rather I give you a few seconds to get out an articulated lie?" Daniel's eyes went to the book she was reading. It was Sense and Sensibility, book by Jane Austen. He didn't get why it was her favorite book. She had read that book more than a hundred times and one thing was for sure she wasn't going to stop reading it. "I just wanted to give you privacy. A proposal is something intimate and I didn't want to be an intruder."

The inside of the vehicle was hot because of the heater and he was suffocating with all the clothes he had to wear to cover himself. He arrived at the literature faculty and headed to the auditorium. The professor was talking about one of the most popular works in England. Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen was one of his favourite authors because she wasn't afraid to write and describe things as she saw them in real life. He smiled because he knew everything the professor was saying. After all, he had already read all her books, maybe twice or more. In order not to waste time, he opened his book; The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
