The Alpha Rejected Second Chance Mate

The Alpha Rejected Second Chance Mate

Humans can be dumb and annoying. “I finally kidnapped my ex,” I said. They gazed at me for a moment and immediately burst into fits of laughter. “I think you should try comedy; you are in the wrong place.” I joined them in the laughter. Indeed, people should really believe people; when they say what they say, they mean it. "Okay, what do you guys say that I moved over there and took her?” I said with a sip of vodka. "No, you can't, Jake. I think you should sit this one out. We have tried,” one of them said.

Breaking The Ice Between Us

Breaking The Ice Between Us

Heavy with shit we weren’t saying. I cleared my throat. “Alright. That’s enough depressing hospital talk. You know what would really make my day better?” He glanced at me, brows raised. “A really dumb joke.” Andrew blinked. Then tilted his head a little, lips twitching like he was fighting a smile. “A dumb joke?” I nodded, lips curving around the cigarette still hanging from my mouth. “Come on. Hit me.” He gave me a look—half skeptical, half amused. “Fine. What do you call a sad strawberry?”

Your Billionaire Daddy Loves Your Stepmother's Curves, Ex!

Your Billionaire Daddy Loves Your Stepmother's Curves, Ex!

Jason likely made the stupid bet because he needed someone to copy off so his dumb ass could pass. Those were the longest six months of my life. How did I convince myself I had been happy? It was pure torture. The jokes stopped, at least to my face. People got more creative. They started whispering behind my back and giggling behind their hands. Then swearing up and down they weren't talking about me.

Used By My Husband; Desired By His Son

Used By My Husband; Desired By His Son

I joked, making him laugh at my silly jokes. “The last time I checked I realized that you have become a joke buddy. You joke a whole lot and I cannot take it seriously anymore.” “Life isn't that hard my love. All you have to do is just comply with my jokes okay so tell me what are we doing here my love?” “We are having fun, baby.” “If we are truly having fun. Then I am so sad to tell you that you don't know how to have fun properly.” I voiced out, licking my lower lips.

Falling for Lord Masquerade

Falling for Lord Masquerade

he said, "I would be in hot water. But there are a few chaps I'll share a good laugh with when I need it." "Oh really?" I asked, "They must be near your age. Sorry if that was rude! I just can't imagine a bunch of gray heads laughing at a joke." Now he did laugh. "You're quite right," he said, "I suppose they must be near enough in age, a little older here, little younger there," he shrugged casually, "Pfft, it's a party. Age doesn't matter." Better back off, Jenna. He already got weird once. Don't push it.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

Leesa had to give the guy credit. He didn’t seem to let the catcalls and groans bother him. He either had the thickest skin in the world, or he thought the derision was in some twisted way an approval of his act. His jokes were new, but were equally as dumb as the last time. She wondered if he wrote the stuff himself or got it from some website—stupidjokes.com, maybe.

Claimed by the Alphas

Claimed by the Alphas

I add the last part just for the sake of fun. As predicted, he doesn’t understand what I meant and frowns. “Lie and live?” His friend starts grinning as if both just hit the jackpot. Wow, what morons would think there isn’t more to my words than those I just said? Clearly, both should understand the hidden meaning. “We don’t know,” the grinning asshole claims. I must give him some credit – he actually looks like he’s confident in his victory.

I laugh once and then immediately understand this was not the right joke by the look that I received from the two of them. \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \

Falling For My Amnesiac Bully

Falling For My Amnesiac Bully

Why do I always get caught in the worst situations? “Not much of an idiot now, huh?” Joshua asked, with a smirk. Realizing that the situation had relaxed a little, I shrugged my shoulders casually. “The jury is still out on that.” “Excuse me?” he blurted out as he slammed his palm on the table, once again attracting the attention of the café visitors. My jaw dropped and I shot him a glare with my narrowed eyebrows. “Oh My God! I’m kidding! Gosh! Can’t you take a joke, Mr. Serious Model?”

Abigail's Absent Husband Is A CEO

Abigail said, "Mr. Jackman, do you know that saying only half of something is the most annoying thing?" Keith was speechless. He thought, 'I shouldn't have said too much!'

I paid a lot to read this book. only for the author to stop writing. she started dragging the recognition, then she finished the story of Abigal, then start talking about Lucas and Stella, she's not done with that, she jumped to Emma and Ron only to stop and keep me hanging. pls update the rest.
