Novel & Cerita Jordan Silver Books

“Dad, explain this! Silver Veil, silver liquid, Gideon shooting, that’s your books, your orders! Tell me it’s not true!” His face had hardened, his gray eyes were cold with no warmth in them, the warmth I had grown with. He was big, his alpha essence bearing down on me, but I didn’t back away. “Jasmine,” he whispered, his voice low and tight, “you shouldn’t have that. Silver Veil is a real thing, yes, but for the pack’s safety. Gideon was our enemy, a troublemaker, and he was weakening us. I did what I had to.”

ANCIENT DECEIT. I started pulling books. The titles were intentionally vague: The Error in the Line, Prophecies of the Northern Waste, The History of Madness. My hands moved quickly, brushing the dust from the heavy covers. My heart wasn’t pounding from fear of being caught; it was pounding with the raw, desperate hope of finding the truth. I pulled down a scroll labeled The Silver Heresy. It felt heavy, filled with thick, brittle parchment. I unrolled it carefully on a small, dusty reading table. The script was archaic, full of faded illustrations of old Lycan Kings and strange, almost ethereal figures with eyes drawn with silver ink.

As we walked, the soft thud of our footsteps echoed through the solemn space. Jeremiah, a wise and weathered wolf with a graying muzzle, carried an ancient book in his hands. Its leather cover was worn, its pages yellowed with age. We reached a magnificent wooden table, carved with the same designs, and Jeremiah gently placed the book upon it. "Lyra," he began, his voice deep and resonant, "this book holds the secrets of our pack's legacy, and within its pages lies the tale of the Silver Werewolf." My curiosity piqued, I leaned in closer, my eyes fixed on the book. "Tell me, Jeremiah," I said, my voice filled with anticipation. "What is the story of the Silver Werewolf?"

The man standing in front of me was frail. His height made him stoop. The moonlight captured his sunken eyes just right. He held a tome so thick I feared he would fall over. Despite its size it was a beautiful book. The outside was shiny black. Jewels dotted the front. The back was imbued with bright gold filigree. The man stood on an altar made of the same stuff. It was shiny black. It almost looked like water. I wanted so badly to reach out and touch it but I stopped myself. Something about this felt like a test. I don’t know why I got that impression but I dug my toes into the earth and clasped my hands behind my back.

“M’gentleman.” He laughed, shifted the bags in his arms a bit. “M’lady.” “You need a hand?” “Yeah, thanks. Grab this one. It’s not very heavy.” They piled the bags on the kitchen counter and then – without a word – they started to unpack the groceries together in companionable, comfortable silence. Jo was just putting the honey on the shelf when she noticed that Silver was standing there with a weird look on his face. “What’s up?” she said shutting the cabinet door. “Did you forget something?”

Thanks to shifter agility, I duck just in time. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” “You, Jarek. You are my problem. Get the fuck out!” Silver screams and chunks a jewelry box at me. I duck again and the box collides with the wall behind me and jewelry flies everywhere. ‘Crazy bitch is trying to kill us.’ Silver glares at me and searches for something else to throw. While she’s distracted, I run up and catch her in a tight bear hug. ‘Don’t hurt her, Jarek.’

Or for her to turn out to be the thing I'd been searching for since I was exiled five years ago. A Silver Blood. A real, living, breathing Silver Blood. I adjusted the unconscious girl in my arms as I navigated through the forest. She was lighter than I'd expected, all delicate bones and soft curves. Her skin still held a faint silver shimmer, like moonlight trapped under the surface. Beautiful, Deadly, Perfect. "Boss," Marcus's voice crackled through the radio clipped to my belt. "We've got Silvermoon wolves at the border. Ten of them. They're demanding we return the girl."

I am going to finish The Silver Dragon book 3 before starting to write up The White Witch. Again, thank y'all for your support throughout this journey. Check out my other books The Silver Dragon, book 2 of the series, Family Secrets, and book 3, Revenge (Still in the works).

"The Wolf Queen wants another child." Kael said it while unfastening my nightdress. "You bear easily. Carry one more for her." Ten months later, I gave birth to a silver-eyed daughter. The midwife cut the cord, wrapped her in black cloth steeped in scent-severing herb, and carried her from the room before I could look twice. She was the second. Everyone at court knew that Seraphine had destroyed her moon-vein saving Kael and could never bear an heir. Otherwise, no daughter of Silvercrest would have been welcomed into the Wolf Keep. To Kael, I was never a partner. I was the Moon-Bound woman chosen to give the Wolf Queen children and the royal line its blood. No one asked whether I consented w

His massive leg buckled. Searing, toxic fire spread rapidly through his veins, turning his blood to acid. Silver. Before he could regain his footing, three more rounds punched directly into his broad chest. Air rushed from his lungs in a violent whoosh. The heavy, suffocating burn of silver-tipped bullets forced him to his knees. The mud splashed around his shins. "Jordan!" Amberly screamed from the wreckage. "Stay back!" He choked out the words. Dark blood spilled past his lips, dripping onto his chest.
