His ring glints in the rising moonlight. Commander of the Night. "Be quiet." He snaps. I fold my arms, forcing his hand to fall back to his side. "I'm not doing anything until you tell me what's going on. Do you know how isolating it-"

I don't have nobody else for family, only my grandma. I mean, thankfully I have my best friend Jade Henshaw, she's like a sister to me. We're both 17 years old and juniors at Lakevalley High School. Jade is stunning; she's about my height, maybe an inch shorter than I and I'm about 5'7". She has brown hair with lighter blonde highlights and honey-colored eyes. We met a couple years after my parents died when we were about 6 years old.

Giselle said, spinning me around to check out my costume. “Oh my God, Giselle, you look like a perfect Wednesday! Ashley, that’s a gorgeous Poison Ivy. Cody? I don’t know what you are dressed like…” I spoke. Cody twirled around for me. “I’m Mandalorian. From Star Wars!” he groaned in frustration. “Ahh, sorry, I haven’t watched Star Wars.” Cody’s gasp could’ve reverberated throughout the world. Giselle rolled her eyes. “Please don’t get him started.”

Give him an immediate medicine and treat his wounds” replied Joshua to him seriously. Joshua went out again to find where are the other enemy’s. He climbed the bug tree and he found the guy who was also injured and it was Lyod. He found another guys and it seemed familiar to him. He went down and he went to the location where Dave and Lyod fighting. Lyod tried his best to lurk and dodge Dave’s bullet. Joshua took out a weapon that he took from Dave’s teammates he killed. Before Dave’s bullets hit Lyod Joshua retaliated it and the bullet suddenly didn’t hit on Lyod. “What? How did he retaliated my bullet accurately? How he good at using a gun?” asked Dave to his self confusedly.

Cryx added with a grin since he already knew about this. "Okay, first of all, I'm giving you code names to hide your identities when we're out on missions. I've already given Cryx on earlier, his code name is Knight. As for you Josh, you'll be the Serviceman and Caspian, you're my Ace. And before you complain, I've decided on your code names because I've already decided on your jobs as well. Got it?" I added, feeling so proud. "Wow! So cool, I really like it! It makes me sound so hard-working." Josh beamed.

That was all that came out of Joshua’s mouth before he ended the call. With one swift motion, he swung his leg off his bike and walked towards me with his long, heavy strides. He ran his hand through his hair and shook his head while he chuckled before his eyes fixated on me again, this time dark with passion. Joshua Taylor was dressed in a pair of black jeans, a tight-fitting white shirt, and surprisingly, also a black leather jacket just like mine. I hadn’t seen him in a week and since he didn’t have any modeling gigs, he hadn’t shaved which left him with a thin beard that made my throat dry when I saw him. His boots tapped against the pavement as he walked up the short staircase to me.

I couldn’t tell if she was actually good, or I was that off my game. Lya popped up off the ground, walking over to Rose and Jade. “We’ve got to go talk to Cody real quick, but same time tomorrow?” I offered a brief nod, turning to Jason, looking for a redemption fight. He didn’t take up a stance, though. “You gotta reject her or mark her. The limbo will get you both killed,” he said with a shake of his head. I dropped my arms and stood up, accepting the defeat. “I tried to reject her. She refused it.”

The air smells like horses and male sweat, sweetened by the heather that grows in the surrounding mountains. A little way ahead of them stands James with a large white horse. Its mane is the color of moonlight. He’s looking away from his men, up at the sky. Not far from him, I spot Blake. He’s dressed all in black, and stands still among the chaos. The wind ruffles his dark hair. His expression is unreadable. A flash of anger surges through me. I walk to him, and tilt my head. There is no smirk on his lips. He emanates darkness.

Alpha Kyle's POV I paced around the room feeling rather uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep last night as my wolf didn't let me sleep. He had been disturbing me to look for our mate. Rejecting my mate wasn't a good decision as I didn't feel my body again. The pain was more than I had imagined. Even though I had tried to suppress it, I felt I couldn't continue to suppress it.

She wanted to be here, to fight alongside me, but I couldn’t risk it — not with the babies depending on her. The scent trail was faint but distinct. It led us deeper into the forest, past the familiar boundary markers of our territory. Whoever this man was, he knew our land well. I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were walking straight into a trap, but we had no choice. We had to find him. The name **Jona** had surfaced recently, whispered by those who knew of his infamy. He was once the leader of a rogue group known for their brutality and cunning, a man whose reputation sent chills down even the most hardened warriors.
