We were having cookies with our TV viewing and it was going to be awesome. I was settling in when I got a message on my phone fron my bank, I had just received twenty dollars and the description read For Dan, savings for the year. "What?" I blinked in uttermost confusion.

Grace's POV After finishing the loads of work my boss dumped on me, it was finally time I reached home, not before buying an instant noodles packet for my dinner. Yep because that is the only cheapest meal I can afford as of right now. After having dinner, I checked my phone to see any important notifications. Having none, I called it a day and slipped into a deep slumber.

Carson stood up, with her following close behind. “How are you feeling?” He asked. “Um, good.” She responded. “Well, did I thank you for what you did?” He asked. “Carson, cut the crap and get to the point. I may be young, but I am not stupid.” “Do you get those nightmares all the time?” Again, Carson asked, this time directly to the point. She replied with a single word, “Yes.” “You are not going to give me any details, are you?” “No.” Which made Carson sigh.

Is he using me? ''Oh, munchkin. He is not using you. I can say that much.'' he says, pulling me into a hug. ''But I'm stopping there because it's not my place to say the rest, but trust me. Just give him a little more time, and he will come and talk to you. All he needs is a little more time to gather his thoughts," Adrian says, pulling out of the hug, placing a hand on my cheek, and wiping away my tears before standing up and kissing my forehead.

I am so bad at this! He chuckles and looks at me amusingly, then he takes out of his jacket's pocket a small device and places it on the table, I don't want to stare at it but I see it has a few buttons and a small screen, its size is no bigger than a normal cell phone. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." I hear a human and natural voice coming from the gadget. This will work so much better than I expected!

My favorite and I didn't think I could stop myself. "You like Maltesers too?" I asked and he chuckled with a nod. "Yeah, wine or water?" He asked, grabbing a Maltesers pack from the fridge. "We are doing a project, we aren't at a club." "Water it is then," He said, ignoring my sassy comment. After that, he stepped towards the bed with two bottles of water and one Malteser which he threw on my lap. I smiled as I caught it and it made him smirk. Opening it gladly, I popped one into my mouth and he opened the textbook, his eyes flickering between the pages and my lips.

I have five days to work on the book starting today so here's to hoping I can upload a lot. Confused, I asked, "Go where? I don't understand why you're reacting this way." Jared hesitated for a moment before replying, "That four-letter word is not something I'm comfortable discussing." His words only piqued my curiosity further. "Why? What's wrong with love? It's a universal concept that everyone can relate to." He shook his head adamantly, his expression reflecting his disbelief. "It's not real... and I don't see the point in discussing something I don't believe in," Jared insisted. I furrowed my brow, trying to make sense of his stance.

Raze said wiping her tears again. “Hey, sorry to bother you two,” Daemon said coming into the room. “Speaking of the devil,” Raze chuckled making her giggle. Daemon looked at them confused then shook his head, “Anyway, um, Little One ate five chicken nuggets and some fries and drank all her apple juice. Can she have that ice cream now?” “Chocolate chip cookie dough?” Raze asked and Daemon smirked. “Oh, she’s why that’s the only flavor you will eat,” He chuckled. “Go figure.”
