Jim didn’t look up. He only moved to grab his phone from the table and hand it over to Sean.
“She replied.”
Sean raised his eyebrows, accepting the phone. Jim kept looking down as he motioned for him to play the video on screen. So Sean did.
It was a YouTube link, nothing private, and coming from Silvia, Sean wasn’t surprised to hear a piano ballad. You Do What You Have to Do, by one Sarah McLachlan—Sean had no idea who that might be. The background was the photograph of a pale pink flower and the lyrics were in bright pink. He swallowed a sigh, hoping so much pink wouldn’t cause permanent damage to his sight.
