FATED TO THE WOLF GOD

FATED TO THE WOLF GOD

With each book returned to its rightful place, I felt a sense of satisfaction wash over me, a reminder of the joy that could be found in the quiet moments spent lost in a good book. As I reached for the last book, my fingers brushed against something unexpected—a beautiful tome hidden between the others. Its cover shimmered with an ethereal glow, adorned with intricate golden filigree and embellished with symbols of ancient power. The crest on its cover depicted a majestic dragon intertwined with delicate vines, its scales gleaming in the soft light of the library. “Wow,” I muttered, brushing my fingers over the book. Intrigued by its beauty, I carefully opened the book, revealing pristine p

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

I am excited that The Lost Luna is almost ready to be published in paperback form through A____n. There will be a completely new cover for the book, and each subsequent book will have it's own cover, although they will be similar and obviously a set. I have been working on a title for the series since it was originally supposed to be a one-off novel, but I am not good at sticking to plan. The series will be called Hidden Legacy.

I do not mind though, as his housekeeper said that he should be back in a few minutes. Hesitantly, I gently enter and patiently wait in the exact spot I was in before. My eyes roam about the room when they are suddenly snatched by a familiar book with a green cover. The shelves are packed tightly, and I sneak over to get a closer look. Taking some sort of risk, I work the book out of its slot and read the cover. Lycanthrope Mythology. How pleasant. This will surely make time go by quicker. Hopefully, Alpha Kenn does not mind.

God, I thought Caius had this book destroyed after what it did to Agron. I swallowed, looking at the thing with morbid curiosity. Elegant but still crude markings flowed out across the cover; I recognized them as cuneiform. On the surface were reliefs of strange creatures I’d never seen before and wolf-like beings. Whatever scene was being depicted, it wasn’t friendly. *It’s the Great War, the war with the deabru. These books are what they used to create the great gates from their world to ours and practice the evil magic that perverted the very essences of the soul. They were supposed to be destroyed on sight.*

Susie
Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

The Keepers of the Universe: A rip in the Veil

The Keepers of the Universe: A rip in the Veil

Oh, cruel fate. She didn't ask for it this time. Probably scared I knew her secret. Gems weren’t supposed to be out in public and if I told on her then she could get into trouble. But still, thinking back to my knowledge about Gems, they weren’t evil creatures. They were just unnaturally outstanding, beauty and body wise. Not very clever. Even though I didn't like Gems, I wasn't heartless. Well, not entirely. I picked up the lip gloss and handed it back to her. Only it wasn't her.

A Goddess Gifted by Fate

A Goddess Gifted by Fate

I got up from the bed and walked around the room, still no pain, how weird. I noticed the bookshelf and decided to take a look. There were so many books, some with older worn covers and others a bit more newer looking. I picked up a small red book and read the cover ‘A Lycanthropy Reader; WEREWOLVES IN WESTERN CULTURE’. I flicked through the pages and put it back on the shelf, a little too intense for some early morning reading. I picked up another one and read the cover, ‘The Garden of Eden’ by Ernest Hemingway. Not what I expected from a teenage werewolf soon-to-be-Alpha. I put it back and my eyes fell on a really older looking book. I pulled it out and it was big and very heavy. It looked

Look closer. Her gaze settled on a particularly weathered book tucked away near the corner. Its cover was simple, but a faint embossed design caught the light - a pair of intertwined wolves beneath a crescent moon. The image sent a shiver down her spine, and her fingers tingled as she pulled it from the shelf. She opened it carefully, the pages crackling with age. The script was ornate, the kind that took a moment to decipher, but the accompanying illustrations made her breath catch. Drawings of wolves with hollowed eyes and jagged teeth, their forms twisted and monstrous, filled the margins.

POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

POWERS OF THE MOON BEARER

"This area has the older records and texts dealing with relics and ancient lore." Alec, Luna and Jax began digging through the stacks of books just in case they saw something, even a reference text to their relic. Luna's hands started shaking when she picked up a heavy leather-covered book. Intricate symbols embossed the old cover of the book, and the title was difficult to make out. As she opened the book, the weight of the book shifted, and she could see a sea of words and images depicting old symbols. She flipped through some pages reading and scanning each image for anything about their crystal orb, whether it be directly or indirectly.

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

The key was Mars’s most sacred possession; it was the one bastion the invaders—his stepmother and her brood—had never managed to claim. He ran a finger over the spine of the book he’d plucked from a familiar nook, expecting the worn comfort of a re-read. Instead, his fingertips met unblemished leather. He didn't recognize it. There was no author, no publisher's mark, only a title embossed in ostentatious, looping cursive: A LIGHT THAT CHANGES FATE.

The Crippled Masked Alpha

The Crippled Masked Alpha

I bypassed the main shelves and went straight for the obscure texts dealing with military alliances and pack history predating Ronan's rule. I searched specifically for the Shadow Keepers, the strange symbol etched onto my locket. After nearly an hour of searching, I found it: a small, dry, dusty volume, bound in black leather, detailing the history of highly secretive, non-territorial packs focused entirely on protecting specific individuals. I pulled the book out, blowing the dust off the cover. The symbol on the cover matched my locket exactly. I flipped through the heavy, brittle pages, searching for any name, Thorne, Vesper, Devon.
