Zayne sighs “He’s dead, can we go now?”

Hunter said jabbing a finger in Kaiden's chest. Kaiden thought for a moment and exhaled deeply. "Okay." Hunter nodded his head before exiting the room, and Kaiden joined Drake in bed to annoy the blonde guy. _______________

She knew the cleanup team would arrive soon. They exited the woods and got back into the car. Everyone was silent, until Ruth finally spoke again. “Those people you saw... they’re called the Hunters. Not the deer-and-rabbit kind. The ones who bear hatred for werewolves. They pretty much want to wipe every werewolf off the map. Good or bad, it doesn’t matter to them.” She paused and glanced at them. “Alex, you look like you just got indigestion. Are you okay?” Alexander looked up slowly, worry all over his face. “Those two back there...” he muttered.

Hunter growled out, putting much emphasis on each word especially the last. Zane raised his eyebrow and took a step forward but a huge bundle of glowing yellow light blasted from Hunter’s right hand, almost hitting Zane right in the face had he not cast a protective barrier around him. “Interesting, indeed,” he smiles. “Sorry but you’re not the first man to confess to me. You should know I only like girls,” Hunter smirked and I knew he was teasing him. I rolled my eyes. Is he seriously making a joke at a time like this? I sighed and shook my head before looking back at Zane who is now staring directly at me.

Crystal Snow POV I tried my best to show him, love, to show him that for me, he is more important than his money. But it did not work. Hunter was and still is the most hunted man from New York, a billionaire who can have everything and anything at any time. He was forced to marry me, a simple woman just because he needed to look good in papers like a married man and a loving person. Hunter said and continued. "You know we had one more member in our gang. Her name was Sarah. She was like our family. The girl was in love with Rasmus. When she turns 18 she found out Rasmus was her mate but then everything stopped during the rogue attack, and she was killed. She was like a sister to me. I loved her as much as I loved Aurora and Angela. But she left us. It broke us apart but Moon Goddess sent Catherine and she named her baby Sarah," Hunter rasped. His eyes were misty.

Jaxon and Jace are trained, I do not need to worry about their safety, they were born for battle. Hector also, his charcoal black wolf is tearing through skin. These hunters have invaded his land, have killed members of his pack…he won’t let them leave. I continue to fight, my wolf covered in blood when I hear an almighty roar. I turn to find Hector’s wolf blocking Kaia from an assault of bullets…where they hit him scare on in the chest. His paw swings out to take down the shooter only for the hunter to dive out of the way, pulling out a silver dagger and stabbing it into Hector’s chest. Kaia kills the hunter in the blink of an eye.

"But you know what he did? He kissed me and confessed his love to me." Hunter was eerily quiet, his eyes taking in the two homicides kissing each other to demonstrate how it happened that day. His eyes flickered to their back at Claire. She was trembling vigorously now. Of course, she wasn't used to meeting homicides like this. First Zara, then Caine. Two in such a short time. It was more than normal for Hunter. Meeting them on a daily basis also meant that he knew how to get rid of them. His eyes dipped down to the first open button of his black shirt.
