Heath felt he was drowning in the middle of a vast lake. However, he felt he could still breathe normally. In the depths of the lake, he saw the reflection of his childhood. Harriet, his sister who still looked very young, was giving him a lap pillow, stroking his hair. Her eyes were closed, but she was telling a tale about the Great Knight. As Heath recalled, it was a very thrilling story. The Great Knight on a white horse braved the hordes of sabre-toothed monsters, opening a path for light to enter the darkness.

Millions of glittering stars stretched across the dark canvas above us, looking close enough to touch. We sat together by the dying embers of the campfire, wrapped in thick jackets. "Tell us a story, Daddy," Jim pleaded, resting his chin on his hands, looking up at me with wide, expectant eyes. "Tell me the story about the knight who fought the wolves." I spent the next half-hour weaving a silly, magical story about a brave knight with a shield made of silver and his loyal queen who protected the kingdom of the glass mountains.

The darkness of the White Mountain was illuminated with the little shadow of the moon, dark clouds covered the horizon and only the unforgiving gale of winter was their companion. Fairy Knight Henry heard them from the darkness of the trees, and as he approached, he saw the outlines of the warriors and the young legendary Prenah in the shimmering moonlight.
