Mona let out a nervous laugh, tucking a loose curl behind her ear. "You, uh... you look better in person," she blurted out before she could stop herself. Her eyes widened in horror. "I mean! Not that you don't look good in the picture! Just, uh... yeah. You're really... um... handsome."
Kane laughed.
A deep, genuine laugh.
His heart did something funny in his chest.
