Kylie’s Pov As I approach the gathering, a knot of worry tightens in my stomach, not just for Arnold but also for the unspoken tension between Sasha and Frederick. However, any lingering emotions are instantly overshadowed when I see the state Arnold is in. Instinctively, I rushed to him, wrapping my arms around him tighter than I intended. He grunts in pain, and I quickly pull back, concern etched on my face. “I'm sorry, I'm sorry, did I hurt you?” I inquire with genuine worry. Arnold chuckles, a hint of amusement in his eyes, and he pulls me back into the hug, assuring me he's okay. A sigh of relief escapes me, knowing his alpha abilities will have him fully healed by the next morning.

Hiro smirked, and Kyle just glared at him. Vince shook his head. “Back off, Hiro. If you don’t want to be surrounded by air, fire, water, and earth.” Hiro laughed. “Man, I just can’t imagine it.” Kyle ignored the two of them because he caught sight of someone approaching their direction. A small smile curved on his lips upon seeing him. He had missed this guy. “Kyle!” Kira gave him a man hug the moment he reached him. “Nice one, bro! You’re getting married already!”

Luckily Kyle interrupted quickly before I could shout the insult I had lined up. “It's somewhat of a love affair, sir.” This is why we’re both great at what we do. Kyle lines up the shot and I take it. He presented something for me to build on that would diffuse this situation and still keep the old bastard in the dark. “Kyle fell in love with one of the ruby wolf pack members. He didn’t mean to but outside of our shifter lives they met up. You know, when we would perform at concerts… Because we’re in a band… Father.” The more I spoke the more he looked confused. He always forgets I’m in competition with Chaze’s band. His face soon lit up as he snapped his fingers and nearly shouted.

I smile at him. “Thank you so much my friend for helping take care of my fiancée. M thanks a lot man” Kyle says and hands his hand out to Hudson for a handshake. Hudson also stares at him very confused. He slowly raises his hand and places it on Kyle's hand. Kyle squeezes his hand and drags him for a forceful hug as well. I know for sure that something is going on in his head for acting all goody goody. “Let me walk you to the door” I offer as he breaks his forceful hug and complementaries with Kyle.

It didn't look like he had fallen in love with me right? Yeah, that shouldn't be the case. Besides, there was no way I was his mate as Alpha Kyle just rejected me so it wasn't possible. There must be something going on, but then no matter how much I thought, I just couldn't bring myself to understand what was happening. The Alpha was so unnaturally kind to me, he didn't even get angry when I refused to tell. him which pack I had come from. He had only asked for my name and then if I would like to stay in his pack.

Kaitlyn introduced them, "Heidi, meet Kyle. Kyle, this is my good friend Heidi." Heidi, still amused, extended a hand to Kyle, "Ah, the flower guy! Nice to finally meet you in person." Kyle laughed, shaking Heidi's hand, "Guilty as charged. It's a pleasure to meet you too, Heidi." Kaitlyn, noticing the seemingly familiar exchange between Heidi and Kyle, couldn't help but give a confused look. Heidi, catching onto Kaitlyn's expression, laughed and reassured her, "Relax, Kaitlyn, I'm not here to steal your man."

Kyle walked to the front of the crowd and Xalia’s father shook hands with him before walking away. “Hello, good evening.” Kyle said with a smile and Xalia bit her lip, she really needs to talk to him, he needs to say it to her face that he has been playing her all this while. “Damn, you Harrison.” She heard Draven mutter and she turned to him, he looked so annoyed and he kept tapping his fingers on the table. “Is everything okay?” She asked and he didn't give her a response. Is she the only one that has no idea of what is going on? What is the deal between her family, Kyle and Draven?

He smiles at me and holds his hand out, “Lets go.” Xander I drop Hayley of at work and head back home. I just make it through the front door when my phone rings with Kyle’s caller ID flashing across the screen. “Hey Kyle, sup?” “Hey Xander, I’m going for a hike around the Mount Levi and Lake Serenity area…want to meet me there? Henry’s in but Tyler can’t make it.” “Sounds great. Let me change and we can meet at the start of the trail?” “Sure. See you just now.”

’ In a voice filled with rage, Alex grabbed Noah by the collar and commanded him to stay away from her, but Kylie quickly grabbed Alex's wrist and signaled him to let go of Noah's collar immediately. Noah couldn't help but chuckle while whispering, “That's why I said, if I hadn't known your secret and wouldn’t be after someone else I would have undoubtedly fallen in love with you and you can be sure that I won't tell a soul neither your secret nor anything elsewhere. I have been looking forward to the opportunity to have a real conversation in the future, as I know that I will not just be able to look into your beautiful and sparkling eyes, but I will also be able to hear your charming voice
