Worth Fighting For
Levi commanded as he jumped out of the truck.
Doriane expected him to go around the back and grab her crutches for her, or even the wheelchair Levi had bought. She felt he was going very overboard with his over-protectiveness. He not only bought two pairs of crutches and a wheelchair, but a whole new wardrobe, new bed-set, a couple stair steps (like she could even use them), her medication along with five other bottles of pain and cold medicines, and he told her he was already having a prosthetic foot made to fit her.
At first, she was appalled by the way he was treating her. She was fine, after all. But once she realized there was no stopping him, she just accepted the fact.
